I am going to start by confessing that I feel like an idiot for not heeding the other reviews that said these pillows were too soft. When I read them I thought 'how can a pillow be TOO soft?'. Well ... now I know. When they arrive they are vacuum packed into pancakes so you have to cut the packaging open, whap and smack the pillows around, punch and fluff, and whack some more to get air into them. When you do this they fluff up BEAUTIFULLY and look like the best pillows in the world. The obvious problem here, however, is that they are 99.9% air so when you actually lay your head on them they dissolve like cotton candy on your tongue and you're left with NO support whatsoever. I gave them a good week long try, hoping they would get better but after 6 nights of waking up repeatedly in the middle of the night to adjust in vain for support and 7 days of a stiff and painful neck I am back to using my old pillow which I now have a surprising newfound appreciation for because despite it being 10 years old (literally) and lumpy and shaped like an hourglass, it is STILL more supportive and comfortable to sleep on than these pillows. As described nice fluffy

I've had the best quality of sleep since using this pillow. I struggle with becoming easily tired due to a medical condition, which makes me being able to sleep well during the night an absolute must. This pillow is very comfortable with just the right amount of firmness. I had ordered two because I usually need two pillows for the neck support, but have only had to use one of these pillows so far. I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind spending money if it means that I am able to rest well, and this pillow was money well spent.

Great for sitting up in bed as well as sleeping

I normally go for a firmer pillow than these. After I kneaded them for a while as per the instructions I found myself with two clouds in my hands." Not gonna like this for sleeping" I thought."Too soft, won't hold my head up." I decided I'd try one as an extra rocking chair seat pad. It was so comfortable used in that manner it convinced me to to make it the top pillow on the pillow stack I use for watching tv in bed. And that's where it's been ever since. The other one I stuffed into a queen size zippered pillow cover, which is what I had bought the pillow(s) for in the first place. It filled the pillow cover very well and firmed up nicely when I zipped the cover up and works just fine holding my head up. So I found two good uses for my two new pillows. I'm pleased as punch.😊

Looked at many different pillows and finally found this one that works great. AND it was a2 pack! So he can keep on at home and one at our home away from home!
