normal yoga mats are just too small for me as a 6 ft 2 dude. They are too narrow and don't allow for the type of movement and stretching that I like. This mat has changed the game. I spent 30 minutes a day just stretching in front of the TV chillin' out. I also play with my dog on/around the mat and it is holding up well. The blue color is great, this mat has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it!

The mat came beautifully packaged. A mat needs two things to allow safe workouts: 1. Foamy DEPTH, say 1/2". This mat is 1/4" thick. The depth allows your feet or hands to mold into the foam a bit. Provides grip. This mat lacks depth. 2. A top coating that is slightly grippy also. This mat lacks this also. I guess if you are using it for standing exercises (say squats), it is probably fine. For the price, I'm looking for a mat that allows diversity in my workouts. An example of a mat that is properly constructed is my Stott mat. I wish they made it in a large size (like this mat size). So, think how you are planning on using it, and make your decision.

This is a great mat. Has good cushioning. Dont wear tennis shoes on it. I’ve used this for 6 months indoors and outdoors. No problems

I tried to use this as an everyday oversized yoga mat and also bought another brand to test, the other held up better to foot traffic and rowdy dogs paws and claws. Plus, this is so large and holds water so it was very difficult to wash in a bathtub, washing machine, garden hose, tried everything and it just did not hold up the same.
