3500lbs Manual Winch

I purchased this to fill in for my electric boat winch which was in the shop for repairs. This worked and I was able to winch my 21-foot boat onto my trailer without issue. This winch will only be used a dozen or so times before I replace it with my electric winch. It will serve as a back-up, but I would not expect it to survive long-term use, as I feel some of the crucial parts have been made too light. I understand the removable handle, maybe to prevent theft. I read other reviews from people that lost their handle en route to the lake as it fell off. Just make sure you remove it from the winch each and every time you travel, or you might find your handle has fallen off too.

Winch is a simple 3500 lbs works great no issues . Be cause this unit has a Clío on handle “not bolt on “ so yes it has a little slack and it’s removable so if not clipped on correctly it will fall off making it a bad day at the water . 4 position mounting bolt makes it durable so not exceed the capacity or the frame will warp. Overall good unit so far ..

Easy to install and operate. It matches the trailer frame and handles our 21.5 ft. Tahoe 215 Deck boat.

Thought this was a decent winch. Wrong. I usey boat once a week so it's going to get some use. Installed it. First trip used high gear, worked great. Second trip had to use low gear very steep boat ramp. Worked great easy to winch my tracker ptx175 up on trailer. 3rd trip. Needed low gear again. Well winch stated coming apart. Low gear bar just falls out will not engage gear. Will not work in low gear now. Worthless junk.

Shortly after installing this wench, I lost the handle. I reached out to Bravex and explained what happened. They sent out a new handle free of charge and followed up with an email to make sure I was satisfied. Perfect!

Good product. Advised to check the handle swing clearance before mounting.

This has worked perfectly for 11 months . But now the round collet has broken , making impossible to use . Do I have any warranty on this or can I order the part ??

Excellent hand winch. very powerful. I was using it for quite heavy work, rolling round hay bales. After 6 months the bearings were starting to get worn. I contacted Bravex and asked if I could buy some replacement bearings. Instead Bravex sent me a new winch free of charge. Excellent customer service from Bravex.
