It worked to remove wasps / hornets!
I'm not sure if it was wasps or hornets, but I'm sure it worked. It does NOT kill on contact though, so don't expect them all to be completely gone the next day. It took about 36 hours total for me. Here's my experience...1. Over several days I noticed wasps / hornets relentlessly going in and out of a hole on the side of a window.2. I researched foam insecticide but it stains vinyl siding and apparently doesn't work well in this situation anyway.3. This dust-based insecticide had the fasting shipping time so I got it.4. That night around 9 PM I donned a good mask, airtight eye protection, long sleeve shirt, and stuck my head out the window.5. I didn't order a duster so I used the container itself and puffed the dust several times all over the area around the hole. I'm pretty sure some dust went inside the hole as well.6. The next morning I could see this very early stage nest was completely covered in the white powder.7. There were a few wasps still flying around that area so I was dismayed. But then I noticed they simply would not land anywhere because the whole area had a layer of the powder. They were seeing it was hopeless.8. The day after that in the morning I checked again. No sign of any wasps. I checked several times throughout the day and did not see a single one whereas just a few days before several were always visible tirelessly building the nest.I do have 2 recommendations though now that I've used this powder.1. Because it's so fine it travels with the slightest air current so if you're sticking your head out the window like I did, I recommend running a fan to your side (don't block the flow) so no powder gets in your house.2. Get a duster even if it's a cheap one. It's just difficult to puff the powder precisely right from the 1 lb container... it's not designed for that.

Yellow jackets in our walls
This killed them when sprays wouldn't. We sprayed the powder at night when they are slow moving, once they crawl through the powder they are done for, we were able to spray it down inside the wall and kill off the hive, took a few days to get them all but I really think this is a fantastic answer to a bad problem. These are aggressive wasps that kill off our honey bees and they are out of control this year.

Yellow jackets
Bought this product because I had a infestation of yellow jackets going into a 1/4" hole in my vinyl siding. Went out after dark and applied powder with a hand duster into the hole. I gave it 20 minutes and went out with a flashlight to check and could not believe that the wasps were already falling out of the hole. The next morning the ground was littered with the pests. Love this product!
