Tire Dolly TS30EZ75 1000 lb Capacity

Durable and easy to maneuver! I have had it for 6 years. Rolls like new. Worth the price for the quality!

The tire dolly was the perfect size to fit under our round wicker fire table with its heavy granite top. Moving the fire table was always a chore each fall to get the fire table off the rug, and to prepare for winter. Same issue in reverse each spring. The 30" round tire dolly fit perfectly under our fire table and we couldn't be happier! Very well made and supports our fire table easily.

I use it to store my SUV tires WITH the wheels in them, so they are heavy. Tried a different stand that was a little smaller with only 4 wheels, and it could barely roll under the weight. The extra wheel (and better wheels in general) make this roll better over the joints in the garage floor, the locks on the wheels are much easier to get to and operate with your toe, and the size of the base is a better match to the slightly larger tires. The included strap to hold the stack stable is a nice touch, and I appreciated the "pull here" label on the hand-hold near the base, since it does handle the rough spots better if you pull on the base. That is a bit awkward to reach, so I purchased a "car grab handle" and clipped in in the hand-hold for pulling, and that has been a great combo.

Overall, this product is terrific for moving and storing an extra set of mounted tires. I loaded this dolly with almost 300 lbs. -- four (4) Volvo XC90 tires mounted on alloy rims. Its diameter was just right for the job, and I think it handled the weight just fine. One does need to pay attention to the "Push Here" label on the dolly, because only some of the casters are free to swivel. Otherwise, it moved easily around the garage once loaded. I didn't set the lockable casters, but they seemed to lock and unlock easily without needing to stoop down low. I didn't find it necessary to use the included nylon strap, because the bagged and stacked tires were quite stable due to their weight and diameter. I look forward to using this dolly for many more seasons.

Works great. Holds 4 very large (100 pounds each) Cybertruck tires on rims (36" diameter). Was relatively easy to roll on blacktop driveway surface. Using while snow tires are on truck. Will switch over in the spring. The lash strap was easy to use and held the tires tight while moving. Seems to be well built and wheels are quality and roll easily even with 400lbs of weight.

The image shown by TruStack for their 1000lb. capable TS30EZ75 tire dolly is metal, however what you will receive is all plastic -- except for a few parts of the casters. The casters seem to be well made and durable, but since other parts of the dolly are plastic, the durability is dubious. Even worse is that each caster is attached using four screws which are screwed directly into the plastic platform. It's just a matter of time before these screws rip out of the plastic and render the whole thing as garbage. I know what I'm talking about here; I work as a mechanical and electrical engineer. Screwing directly into plastic is ok for toys and disposable goods only. It should never be done for weight-bearing products -- especially not a 1000lb. tower of tires that can fall over and crush a child/person. If you decide to purchase this dolly in spite of its liabilities, be extremely careful when attaching the casters. It's easy to strip out the plastic when inserting the screws. You'll need a torque wrench to do it properly. One more thing... This manufacturer embossed some religious writings on the bottom of the dolly. I'm guessing it is Christian writings of some sort. People following other religions might find that offensive. To me, my view is that if there was a god, she/he would probably want TruStack to be more honest about what they are selling -- and TruStack can start by showing real photos of the product and mentioning the religious stuff embedded in the plastic.

I found it more and more difficult to lift my tires up into my wall rack as I got older. Also my new Subaru 20” wheels and tires are so much bigger and heavier, I needed another plan. This dolly is expensive, but heavy duty and large enough to hold my tires with room to spare. My only niggle is that I wish they included 2 straps. I felt the stack was more secure with a strap on each side. There is a slot there already so it just needs another strap. Hint: feed the straps up as you stack the tires-it is much easier than trying to drop it down through the full stack. After a couple months of use, I stil find that it moves easily in my garage.

This may appear expensive and it is a little in my opinion, but it is made well to hold over sized larger truck tires. I bought a cover to go over my tires. Now I can easily maneuver them in my garage anywhere I like easily.
