Not sure. Dont buy one. Bought ours in feb, has stopped working. Contacted seller who advised us to contact smeg, who say we have to contact seller. Nightmare.

There are any plastic parts inside?

Yes. The lid mechanism is operated with plastic inside.

This is my 2nd smeg kettle. but this one has got a metal taste in our tea. tried boiling 4 times with lemons and bicarb. still awful taste. help

My kettle has no taste in the water but after only 2 months the lid is broken will not stay down expensive too!!!
