Brand new to compression socks. Glad I bought these.
Never wore compression socks before in my life. Had some folks from church highly suggest them. Ran into problems with left leg from back to toes. PT helped a little. MRI showed nerve issues. Trying chiropractor before a spine specialist. Bought these as another way to conservatively try & fix things. I am not a Dr. but these are a step in the good direction. They do help. Certainly, not a quick cure, but I have felt improvement from wearing them. Cold sensation & tingling in my foot is noticeably less. I have no problems wearing them for more than 8 hrs at a time. They are very high quality & are comfortable. Obviously they are tight. I have an easier time putting them on without balling them up trying the get the whole sock over my heel. Just start at the top sliding the unraveled sock over your foot & heel, then gently tug as you need pulling it where it gets snug. Much better than getting the whole bunged up sock over your whole leg. After the first wear, I bought 5 more pairs. Amazon even gave me a discount on a couple of them. I'm sold. Good socks. The only negative, is the cool material they are made of. Unavoidable. I am kinda sensitive to cooling fabric like spandex, moisture wicking clothes are a negative to me. These are cooling. They get cold easy. Yet, they are thin enough that you can wear a warm sock over them & they do not create a problem wearing your normal shoes. Still worth the buy. Understand the need for the material, will not knock off a star for it.

Super quality product
Have been using these for many years. They are the best compression hose on the market. Comfortable, long lasting, and they actually do what they are supposed to do to help venous circulation.

Great "sox" so far!
I'm a petite, healthy female in my 30's, and in good physical shape. However, about two years ago I discovered when I drive or fly for long periods of time, both of my legs start to ache. So I decided to purchase some compression leggings to wear when I travel (which I'll talk about later in this review). Then about a year ago, I found sitting in my office was also troublesome, so I purchased a work station that raises and lowers so I can alternate between standing and sitting.Despite all of these changes, recently one leg started to hurt at random intervals -- so I decided to ask my doc about it. Turns out it's an unfortunate hereditary condition, and she recommended I start wearing compression socks/leggings more frequently, as well as incorporate more cardio into my workouts.Aren't I too young for this?!? Apparently not. Ugh!So about those leggings I started buying two years ago....If you're reading this you probably already know that good compression-ANYTHING isn't cheap, not to mention difficult to incorporate fashion-wise -- especially when you're not even close to 40 yet!The footless compression leggings I purchased I started wearing during travel either under leggings/pants, or paired with a skirt and boots for leisure travel in the winter. But I found I had to be really careful when putting them on. I ripped my first pair and had to "repair" them with clear nail polish. More recently I've noticed my feet and ankles swell now -- probably because those leggings are footless -- even when I still "exercise" my feet while in transit.Aside from all of the above-mentioned, at $60ish each those leggings are a serious investment! So between the need to wear compression items more frequently, as well as an upcoming trip with a lot of flight time, I needed to start some serious research. One of my colleagues told me about these socks and how much he loves them -- especially for the price. He occasionally wears them for work and said he noticed how his feet, ankles, and legs don't swell the days he has them on vs. when he wears plain 'ol socks. For the price, it was worth a shot. I ordered a small black and gray pair (I'm a size 6.5 to 7 in shoes), and wear them to the gym with capri leggings. Since compression sleeves are becoming more commonplace in sports/fitness, and with the large "SB" printed at the top of each sock, I don't feel "old" wearing them. They just look like sporty knee socks.I'm very happy to report they fit really well and stay in place perfectly. I don't have to adjust them at all during my workout. In fact, I have to peel them off -- just how it should be!I despise wearing socks in the summer because my feet get too hot too fast, making me feel ill. Luckily, SB Sox are no hotter than standard socks, so I'm able to get through a workout.According to the care instructions, these socks are machine washable. I decided to hand wash mine then hang them to dry to see how long it takes (since I am often traveling in places where I do not have access to a washing machine). Unfortunately, these are not quick dry. But at this price point, I can definitely order multiple pairs!I'd love to see more design options -- maybe some with stripes down the sides?

Top notch product, terrific vendor: Recommended to anyone.
SB SOX (20-30mmHg): The best I've tried thus far (and I've tried a lot of compression socks). Suffered from multiple DVT's in the left leg due to several veins collapsing during one of the surgeries. They installed some 6+ FT of stents on the veinous side to save the leg (one of the FDA studies out there). Anyway, the end result is that I now get to wear compression stockings from now on. These are simply the best compression stockings that I've found so far (including the medical grade ones you need an Rx for - that simply cost 4-times as much, but have same rating and do the same thing). The band at the top does not cut, they provide good/solid compression from the ankle up, and they make your legs feel great. I've tried some brands that I've simply had to throw away after wearing them once (they were that bad or the band at the top was simply not worth it). For walking/exercise, the SB-SOX also feel great and help during and after the walk (can now do 5-8K's). Or, if you are on your feet all day, these socks will make you feel better when you get to the end of the day (at least your legs will feel better). For the athletes, I can see these socks helping runners at any distance. The vendor is terrific to deal with and they are always willing to help (vendor provides some nice discounts for buying more than one - and you'll want to buy more than one so that you don't have to wash them every night). The only other one that I'd recommend is made by "Run Forever Sports" (also a 20-30mmHg compression) - they feel just as good. The SB-SOX's are a little cheaper out the gate and if you are buying more than 1-pair, they give you a 5% discount for each added pair (up to 30% off for 6-pair). For the money, the SB-SOX's are my go-to brand and I suspect I'll eventually be wearing this brand exclusively (once I've weeded out or worn out the sub-par brands that I've tried.........or once I've worn them enough that I can justify throwing them out; as they are expensive and I wanted to try and get some use out of the other brands that I still have). To anyone out there that wants to simply feel better at the end of a race or at the end of the day - give this brand a try. To anyone out there that needs to wear them for a medical condition (such as DVT's or the pain caused by them), you also will not be disappointed (hang in there and I hope you get some relief).Disclaimer: I paid for each pair of SB-Sox's that I own out of my own pocket and rec'd nothing for free (also got nothing for the time I spent to write this review). At times, I do wonder if the review is unbiased or not and I also wonder if the review can truly be unbiased if the product was given to them for free (I suppose it can be done - but you do still wonder). Anyway, we've all seen reviews where a product was given to a person for free or in exchange for an 'honest-review'. I wanted to put in the same sort of disclaimer - just stating that I paid for them outright. I do try to read reviews when I'm looking to make a purchase and I do appreciate when an honest review is available. While I don't write many reviews, I wanted to at least provide the same courtesy to others that I look for. So, I'll try to find time when a product is working for me and at least provide some feedback - hence this (long-winded) review.Best regards.
