We use an induction range w/oven below, and need pans made with induction capability. These pans are that. They're made very well, with an extremely comfortable stay-cool handle, shaped ergonomically to fit the human hand. They are the most amazing non-stick pans without teflon that I've used or seen, and NOTHING sticks to the surface. Very easy to clean........the only caveat is that the coating on the bottom of the pans is quite "slippery" on the ceramic range top, and it's easy to slide across the burner position, thus shutting off the induction connection. This is avoidable by simply using extra care when cooking with the pans, making sure they stay over the induction area to avoid shutting the connection off. They are a little pricey, but good saute pans are, typically. We use plastic or wood utensils while cooking so cannot speak to the scratch resistance....they are like new after a few weeks of daily use.

My mom got a greenpan pot as a gift and she loved it. She mentioned to me that she would love a set of the bigger pots, but they are expensive. Saw this deal, grabbed it for her and she absolutely loves it. Great gift! Great value! The only thing you really have to know, not to use anything that can scratch the surface otherwise it removes the coating. Get it, you'll be happy!!

Love these pans so far. Have used several times and have quality feel, solid but not too heavy, food cooks well with a bit lower temperature than I used in the past. Clean up is easy and have had no food sticking. Highly recommend. Was planning to buy one smaller pan and try it but Black Friday 3 pan set was a fabulous deal and I love having three sizes.

One month in: 12 inch pan already has scratches, and this is the hardest to clean "non-stick" pan I have ever had. Cleaning this pan is an absolute chore. I would highly recommend skipping over this pan and purchasing something else. Cleaning is so bad, that when my wife uses it, I just tell her to not even bother trying to clean it and I will do it. We use the 12 inch more than the 10 inch - so the 10 inch is holding up fine. . We used pan protectors for storage. I heat water in the pan to assist with the cleaning. We use a high smoke point oil, we do not use any cooking oil sprays. I have used Magic Eraser - which was also recommended. It is an incredible process to clean this pan. Decided to check on "warranty" - nope. They do not care about the non-stick aspect, or the scratches - the warranty is only for the "safeness" of the pan - and the pan is still safe to use - which is good. _____________________ Response was quick to my email, maybe 10 minutes, and here is the response: "We are very sorry to hear that you are having any issues with your cookware. Based on our review, this would not be considered a manufacturing defect but wear and tear due to usage. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use. The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium. If chipping is present along the rim, it is recommended to use pan protectors. We take great care in reviewing all warranty claims. We have experts who can easily determine whether a manufacturing defect is present. I would like to assure you that your product is perfectly safe for use. We hope you find this information helpful. " ______________ The pan is safe to use, but the quality of the pan is extremely disappointing. It will be recycled after 1 month.

I looove these pans. I use stainless steel generally but recently bought these to use for eggs and other light items that I need nonstick coating for. They are versatile in that you can cook high heat items on them and get a bit of a fond going. The quality seems to be solid as the bottom of the pans has remained flat and not warped due to the thickness. The lighter color is easier to cook with than a dark nonstick coating. I use the smaller size pan for most of my cooking but it is nice to have the larger one available. I do wash these in the dishwasher but they recommend hand washing.

We cook a lot of our meals, and we use these frying pans almost every day. As you must know by now, non-stick frying pans do not remain non-stick forever. You can pay a lot less than this, and you can pay a lot more. Nothing's going to change that fact. That said, the Valencia pans have a good non-stick surface. These pans are well balanced, a nice weight to them, and they cook very evenly. Greenpan assures us they don't use the surface that sheds dangerous plastics. But they have to be babied. All non-stick pans do. We thought we were taking good care of our last set, but about a year later, they weren't very non-stick any more. Couldn't do eggs any more. So I looked around, read endless reviews, and tried Greenpan again. Babying them is the key. Greenpan says they can be washed in the dishwasher. No, don't do that. Never do that. Don't even think about doing that. Here are some other tips, which I would consider a necessity. - Only use silicon or wood utensils in the pan. - When washing them, use a soft sponge and never, ever scrape them. Don't even use the rougher side that's often the back of sponges. - Never go above halfway on your stove heat. These are quality pans and will cook evenly at halfway. - Always, and I mean always, put a little oil in and pre-heat the pan for at least 90 seconds before adding food. If you follow all these recommendations every single day, you will limit the damage to the non-stick surface and get more life out the pans. We're about two months in with this set and they still clean just as easily as the first use with just a soft sponge and a bit of dish soap.

We recently replaced two of our Esteele non stick pans with Greenspan. The difference is amazing. I love my new pans. Food just glides off. Good to get back to using olive oil too.
