SITKA GearMen's Grindstone Work Jacket

This jacket is amazing. I wanted a jacket that was waterproof and windproof. This jacket is both. What I didn’t expect Was the warmth. I assumed I would have to layer up underneath for the cold Michigan mornings, but this jacket is warm on its own. I do sometimes wear a puffy vest underneath. Hood is perfect, pockets are great. I though the back pocket was kinda silly a first, but it’s very usefully. I put my extra warm gloves and hat in the back pocket to keep them dry. I compared this jacket to north face a Patagonia, and I’m glad I bought the Sitka.

As with all Sitka products, it's pricey, but very high quality. If you want the best, you have to step up to the plate...

Tough outer, soft and warm inner. Fits perfect for my size in Sitka stuff. I buy nothing but Sitka now, due to the quality and sturdiness, + comfort and usability. Sitka can do no wrong. Their gear is worth every cent, every time. Life long investment, because the gear will last that long even when abused.

Very nice jacket, comfortable and warm, nice zippers. I really wish it had inside pockets, with the 2 chest pockets being the only ones that zip it's just not enough space to carry important items. I know it's a "work" jacket and the design resembles a Carhartt with the big open hand pockets, but my Carhartt has two large interior pockets, one sip and one velcro. Other than that, fantastic jacket.

Great jacket! It is really warm without being bulky, but I really dislike like pockets! The pockets are very large, which is nice, but holds nothing! Everything you put in them falls out.

They need to make a small version. The medium is too boxy in the body.
