Good budget headset.
For the price this was a good headset.Pros:- Lightweight- Slightly slimmer profile than other gaming headsets- Affordable- Good sound quality for the price- In-line control for sound and mic- Padded cups and headbandCons:- Flimsy cable- Pressure became uncomfortable after wearing for a while- Microphone sensitivity was not consistent. This was the first headset I have ever bought for PC gaming. I have had this headset for just over 6 months and my experience has been...okay. Don't get me wrong, for the price these are good. I bought them on sale for $35.99 and have had only a few issues with them.First off, the good. They're affordable. They're lightweight and have a slimmer profile than some of the other headsets out there. The audio quality was good for the price, but don't expect to fall in love with it. There are much better options out there if you're looking for a headset that sounds great. The in-line mic and volume control was nice. I use Teamspeak and Raidcall when I play PC games so it's nice to be able to physically mute the sound or cut my own mic. A lot of people complain when headsets do not have a padded headband. Luckily, this one comes with a decent pad.Next, the bad. The cable...my worst enemy. If you're the kind of person who likes to keep their cords neat and organized, this is not a headset for you. I tried several different cord management tricks including the wrap-around, the bundle, and the wind-up but was not fully satisfied with any of them. Eventually, I just let the cord hang out on its own. If you're fine with something like that, then it shouldn't bother you. The audio plug also felt pretty flimsy to me and after some time it became loose-fitting in my audio port, causing audio and mic issues when I played games. I wish that the cable came with an L-plug. As far as comfort goes, if you have a small-medium size head these might be better for you. I have a larger head and the pressure became unbearable after a few hours of wear. I thought that the comfort would improve after a while so I kept with it. Eventually, I didn't even notice the pressure and could wear them for hours without much discomfort. However, upon recent inspection I realized that the left earpiece cracked at the shiny swivel point which added more give to the headset. That was probably the reason it became more comfortable. The crack was likely the result of mishandling the headset (I dropped it once). The microphone was probably the biggest issue. I had no problems with it the first couple of months. Then, I started having issues with the mic being too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I tried several fixes including adjusting the settings on my PC, in RC and TS; I even bought a sleeve for the mic piece. Eventually, I found a nice balance but it was a hassle to figure out what the balance was. I'm not sure if the microphone was defective or my PC/software settings were unbalanced. But messing with everything seemed to fix the problem.Overall, I would not buy these again.

Broke after 4 months.
Padding at the top is comfortable. Overall construction is sturdy. Sound quality is good.It does press slightly against my ears, which can be uncomfortable at times, but this is expected of an over-ear headset. Most days it's not too bad.My biggest complaint is that the in-like volume control is very close to the headset, so I have to reach up awkwardly to adjust the volume. It would have been much more convenient if it rested down near my hands.Overall, a decent headset for the price.EDIT: After 4 months, a plastic piece holding one of the ear-pieces in place broke, rendering this headset unusable. I did take this headset off and put it back on several times each day so it got a lot of use, but I never treated it unusually roughly. I'm going to have to knock off 2 stars because this did not last nearly as long as I expected it to.

Good, has some flaws*
Creative is a great company and, for the most part, they make quality products. My experience with them has been frustrating, but it all ended positively at least. Originally, I bought a pair that was from Amazon Warehouse that, after the 2nd day, the microphone stopped working and the cord was so weak that when jostled I could only hear out of one ear. I sent them back, got a refund, and since Amazon Warehouse items are used, I bought a new pair, giving Creative the benefit of the doubt.--- Here's what happened. The headset sounds beautiful. Great quality for the size of the speakers, very very comfortable. I raid at night for 4 hours+ 3 days a week (Sometimes more) and have not had a comfort problem yet. (You do have to break in the ears a little, they are smallish but it wasn't a problem for long). The mic hasn't stopped working yet, which I was concerned about because it's detachable. The thing you need to look out for: The jack where you plug your cords split to go into the computer, is VERY VERY VERY weak. So, take extra super special care that you aren't rough with it, bend it, anything like that. If that becomes damaged it will make it so you only hear out of one ear if even gently touched. All in all - it's a really nice cheaper headset. There are flaws of course, I will never buy a detachable mic headset again.. The cord being weak thing, not really something you can expect or combat. If I buy another headset I'll either go for the HyperX Cloud or a more expensive Creative headset.Hope this helped, guys. Happy gaming!

These headphones are the worst headphone I've ever used for gaming
These headphones are the worst headphone I've ever used for gaming. First off they are very uncomfortable. They don't fit around your ear and instead just crush the top cartilage of your ear, they hurt after only 45 minutes. The sound is good quality but not $50 good, hardly any bass. The worst part of these headphones though is the microphone. The detachable microphone is nothing but a can on the end of a string because the audio receiver is in the headphones themselves! Who designed that?! I repeat the microphone is in the same place as the speakers! Unless you and your party enjoys the sound of feedback DO NOT BUY

Help
I need help if anyone else has had this problem, the mic I have used will work for my iphone but it wont work for my computer. Has anyone else has this problem before? I like it yet it, the audio is clearer than my speakers and when I use it in my phone it's crystal clear, yet when I use it in my computer it only picks up the sound of me flicking it on and off. I need help please.

Great headset for a great value
These are actually pretty good for the price, I love that I can use them with my iPhone and with my computer (using the supplied splitter), the mic is pretty decent, had to mess with my settings so it would sound the best but it is pretty nice. Only con is the bass, not the greatest but the last headset I had was $80 and that is what I'm comparing them to (which I know is unfair, especially as they weren't made for gaming necessarily). But for $50 this is an amazing gaming headset, and I would highly recommend it.

Good sound, cheap materials
The sound quality and comfort is great, but the plastic these are made of cracks easily without proper caution. They lasted several months. If you are very careful, they are great.
