Just works, download the library and learn
Goes on neatly to the Arduino Uno, can be up and running with the library/sketch provided, and seems to be quite easy to learn how to program for custom lighting. Requires a diffusion layer to be stuck on the LED's by hand when you open it.

Item delivered as described. Well packaged in a antistatic bag inside a small cardboard box. Information was supplied in the box to a online tutorial. Using with a Arduino Uno, worked first time. Example Arduino software is available to test and run the matrix or you can write your own. A very interesting board to work with.
