so unclear - it says it works with iphones but how? I dont see a lightning plug, please help

This item uses the headphone socket on your phone, some of the newer phones have done away with these and just use their charging port or bluetooth for headphones, but you can get a "headphone to lightning" adaptor on amazon, then just plug this into the adaptor.
