Are they for running?

I think these are general "tennis" shoes & are suited to jogging, walking, tennis, etc. They are not specialized for any one sport. I had some for about 30 years & these are the same shoe. Good luck!

Are this 11 American size? I don't see any option for the size.

Yeah, they're pretty much exactly like the old ones. I finally replaced my old pair that I have been wearing for about 20 years. When I got them I compared the new ones to the old ones & they were exactly the same. I doubt that they will last 20 more years however. Good luck.
