Kindred Bravely Universal Labor and Delivery Gown | 3 In 1 Labor, Delivery, Nursing Gown for Hospital

I got so many compliments on this gown! I wore it once I got into the hospital and only took it off when we left. I got my epidural in it, my c section and breast fed in it. The buttons on the front/back were night and light, couldn’t feel them. Will use with my next pregnancy!

Material is soft and thick. I got the black so it was not see through in the slightest. I love that this gown has plastic snaps at the shoulders for easy breast feeding and skin to skin. I have a different gown with metal snaps and they are almost impossible to get open one handed. These plastic snaps allow easy one handed access without pulling or ripping the fabric!The one thing that I didn’t like about this gown was the Velcro. I found myself keeping it open in the back after epidural and then during recovery. If I moved the wrong way, the scratchy side of the Velcro would hurt my back. I would so much rather the gown have had plastic snaps for the front and back as well.All in all, a great gown to deliver, recover and nurse in!!

At time of delivery I was 245 pounds and I’m 5‘10“. I ended up not using for labour as I was really hot, but it’s what it was designed for perfect. Love the pockets. What really was awesome was the stay at the hospital where I could easily get examined and easily nurse. I know I’ll be using it for more for everyday nursing as well. 100% recommend.

I was a size 1x/2x pre pregnancy and have actually lost about 25lbs since then so when I ordered the 1x/2x size, I thought it would be perfect. At 34 weeks pregnant, it just fits, so I'm not confident it will fit by the time delivery comes around. It is very cute and functional, but the fabric, or atleast the sising they used on the fabric, it quite stiff. My hope would be that washing it would fix that, and I suspect if you get the plain colours, it might not be so rough. Overall, trying to decide if its worth it to keep for after birth to wear in the hospital and for nursing, as that might be the only time it fits.

The material is soft and thick enough that I don't feel exposed. I sized up and am glad for the extra room. The gown opens exactly where you would want it to open during labor. It is very functional.The big negative is the quality of the snaps that allow the sleeves to drop down providing easy access to the chest/breast. The snaps are made of plastic, which is necessary in a hospital environment, but they are very loose fitting and do not stay snapped closed. I will need to add extra Velcro or a plastic hook and loop to my gown if I don't want to accidentally expose myself. I don't plan on returning this item because I will need it soon, but I expected high quality based on the price. Overall I am disappointed.
