Walnut Checker Grips Compatible with Ruger Mark II/III Checkered Engraved Textured

Very nice looking grips, they added just the right amount of meat and roughness to give my Ruger Mk II a more substantial feel. Good grips rose in importance since I accurized the pistol with Volquartsen parts -- the increased sensitivity of the action needs to mate with a strong stable platform. With both hands now in reliable, strong contact with the grip, I experienced a surprisingly immediate improvement in accuracy. I also had a pleasing email exchange with Lance, the manufacturer/seller ("Mr. LS"), about precision dimensioning and tweaking the grips to adjust for after-market gun components and style. Overall, a really good-looking and fit-for-use product, and a very responsive manufacturer/seller.

Product arrived much earlier than expected, high quality and fitment is excellent. The wooden grips are much richer looking, than the original black plastic grips.Looks like a completely different gun !!!

I am truly impressed with the grips, fits perfectly. I bought this gun in 1984 with the Ruger plastic grips. These make my older MKII look brand new. Highly recommend this family owned company

nice grips , however when installed the magazine would not lock in place. I had to recontour the bottom of the grips to allow magazines to lock in place.

PERFECT FIT

My MK-II was a 1982 model with plastic grips. These walnut grips are a perfect fit and really improve the looks. They’re slightly thicker than stock and have a much better feel and fit in my hand.
