Fermented Cod Liver Oil - Cold Processed, Lacto-Fermented & Raw Cod Liver Oil - Made Exclusively with Atlantic Cod (Unflavoured, 120 Capsules)

I bought this the same time as a Green Pasture bottle in the spring. I started with Green Pasture, and after a month or so there was a definite fishy taste (to the other brand, while swallowing.) I even kept the open jar in the fridge the whole time. I stopped taking cod liver oil during the summer, because ostensibly I was getting more Vitamin D from being out in the sun. Now I am into this bottle, and I prefer it. The capsules are smaller and easier to swallow, and the jar is a nice glass. It sounds and feels fancy. So far there has been no fishy smell or taste. Which is extra nice, since it was being stored at room temperature several extra months before I opened the bottle. (Now it is in the fridge.) I have not noticed a difference in how either brand effects my physiology. Just loving the affect of the packaging. ;)

My kids’ dentist recommended fermented fish oil for their oral health. They are the perfect size and have no after taste. Their teeth health improved because ever since they started taking them there has been basically no cavities . We like them !

I ordered two bottles and they are used every day now for two weeks. Easy to take, no taste and no after effects that would prevent us from further use. Time will tell whetehre there are health benefits.

I have been using Blue Mountain for years and wanted to try this because I hate the fact that Blue Mountain has had the monopoly on this for years. It is critical for the health of me teeth. If I go without for two weeks, my teeth start hurting and I develop serious pain, leading to root canals. First, I thought I was saving money as this was cheaper. But the milligram equivalent would necessitate taking three pills of Amorica vs the two pills of Blue Mountain. I started having tooth pain after a couple months on these, so I went back to Blue Mountain. The oil in these seems to be a bit too filtered and pure. The fermented nature of the oil, at least on the Blue Mountain side, seems to produce a cloudy liquid, and I'll take that as it seems to be more effective.

Honest to God, I can’t tell the difference between this and Walmart brand.

Sadly it contains carageenan that now has growing concerns about its safety including cancer from recent studies. If you remove this ingredient and advertise it as being cleaner, you'll probably get more business. This product is a great idea and I believe it can be better. 👍
