Works for my car as advertised!
The Boxi Struts arrived promptly and appear to be good quality. They are a good replacement for my 1995 Acura Integra original hatchback struts. Installation was pretty easy, although it helped that I found a YouTube video that provided instructions matching my car strut connections. The hardest part was unscrewing the top bolts on both sides as they were pretty tight....but this had nothing to do with the Boxi Struts. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!

Easy install. Seem to work fine especially for price.
Only thing is mechanism for compression was reversed so dust cover on bottom connection no longer fits being just a flat bracket with a hole as oem has a ball joint type mechanism on the bottom that the cover sits over. Other than that, as easy to install as oem and seem to work fine especially for the price.

Works on my 97 Integra
Put one on my 97 Integra 6 months ago so the rear hatch would fully open and it works. They are a bit stiff and the up side down installation a bit weird, but a good deal for the price. So far I'm glad I bought them. 4 stars because I want to see how well they hold up.

They really lift that hatch!
After the hydraulic lifts on the hatch of my 1999 Acura Integra gave out, I was pretty much unable to open the trunk. After having them replaced, although it's hard for me to close, at least it's possible, and will gradually get easier. A friend installed them. He told me to get them on Amazon, but I priced them at the local auto parts store--they told me $70 each. These were less than $25 for two!

This fits and works 100%
Easy to install and fits 96 Acura Integra with zero issues. Not sure why there are negative reviews as I purchased recently.

Great Value but Longevity not so good.
Ive had this for a while now on my 94 Integra. Its easy to install and great value. Its not the same as OEM but its still good. its starting to loose its longevity. Might be a leak or lost some gas in the support struts shocks.

Worth the money

The end that attaches to the lift gate is fine, but on the body it is not a good fit, leaves a large gap between the end of the strut and the e-clip that keeps it in place (doesn't come with new e-clips by the way, you need to reuse the old ones). If you do use this strut you might want to use some washers on that end. Also the factory dust cap will not fit back over top so the e-clip and joint will be exposed to the elements. When they are installed, they hold the hatch up fine but they are very stiff, requires a lot of force now to close the hatch. And when opening the hatch it is not smooth, judders and kinda stops at the top with a slam. I will give 2 stars instead of one because technically they "work" . They do hold the hatch up I guess.
