I just recently reordered this product, and the smell has changed and is pretty good now! It was not a great smell when I got it for the first time earlier this year, but it worked so well that I decided the slightly weird smell was tolerable enough.I've only used this improved formula once, so I don't know yet if the effectiveness is different, but so far so good! I love that it smells nice now, but without "fragrance" or "parfum" in the ingredient list! It just smells like lovely plants.Very pleased. I might actually end up liking this as much as I used to love the original Avalon Organics Vitamin C face creme, before they made that one so disgusting smelling that I literally couldn't give it away to a broke friend who needed face lotion. She would rather have a dry face than touch that stuff.Good job, whoever reformulated this! I hope your competitive success teaches Avalon Organics a lesson.

The last two times I have bought this moisturizer, it has not been the same consistency as previous times. It has always been more of a solid creamy base. Now it is more of a lotion base and it doesn't smell as good. The first time it happened I thought it was possibly because it was delivered in the hot summer here in Florida and was in my mail box to long. But now it has happened again although not quite as lotioney as the last time. I decided I would look carefully at the ingredients on my jars. (I still have some of the creamy jars) The ingredients list has changed. Without going into too much detail, some are in a different order and some have been omitted, and others are newly listed. Here on Amazon, when you click on this item you can see the ingredients up close. They are the same as the solid creamy base, but the newer ones I've received have the different ingredients and it is not updated on the site.I don't like this new version as much as the older one. It doesn't smell good, but it does moisturize my face. Overall, I am really disappointed in this version because I really loved the original much better.

I couldn't get my normal moisturizer (Avalon Organics) so I decided to try this. I like the feel of it, thick & silky. Absorbs really well. Definitely keeps skin moisturized. Smells like rancid sunflower seeds. Not sure why that is. Overall, it is a good substitute for Avalon Organics! I have only used it once so I can't answer to longevity of the product.

The main thing I like about this product is the length of time it lasts. (with parts of my body being dryish) I put just a drop before I put on sunblock and the effect of the sun block lotion seems to last longer with deeper penetration.

Had to order 2 times. first order one did not have a seal opened up during shipping. These were returned. Second order came once again one ok the other no seal. The one with no seal smells old and as if spoiled. Could only use 1 of the bottles. Need company to respond why if sold as a set of 2 only one of them can be used?

OK, I was a little skeptical at first. I'd never heard of Wild Doe and, after reading the ingredient list, I was still suspicious of what the product would actually do to my face. But WOW!!! My age spots have virtually disappeared. My skin is tighter on both my face and my neck. And it's visibly bright, it looks so healthy! My husband says I look years younger, a happy thing to hear at age 60! Goes on smoothly and a little goes a long way. Oh, and the price is perfect, the same as what I would pay for 4 jars of a name brand product. There is no smell to compete with any fragrance I might wear. My new favorite!

This product may work better for people who have very dry skin. I was looking for a vitamin C cream to replace the Body Shop’s version that Amazon stopped selling. It is not a close comparison by far. This product is thick and heavy, and it made my skin dull and bumpy. There are way too many ingredients in this product. I only tried one jar, and had to throw it away. I will look for something creamier and lighter.
