Boom is far too short
The crane was bought to lift my fifth wheel hitch into the truck. Hitch weighs about 275lbs. The unit will barely go low enough to hook onto it and then when you swing it over the truck it is about 2 feet short of where the hitch has to go. The boom needs to be another 3 feet in length and happy to see capacity reduced to maximum 400 or 500 lbs.I would NOT recommend this product.

Can't live without it!
Great product with some modifications. I threw the brace pieces away and use a chain with the clips provided. Much easier to setup that way. The boom isn't long enough to reach into the box at all, so I reinforced and extended it. I use it to lift my 300lb generator in and out of the box. Works great.

Good product lacks a add on.
Product works, to make my life easier I added a hand winch and a cable roller on a inserted piece no I have better control to lift the load.

Works great.
I saved many days off couch with sore back, Because of this baby , And when using I get compliments, and one time even a group of onlookers. Performance wise ,Works great.

The Maxhaul receiver lift appears to be decently manufactured.
I have not had an occasion to use it yet as it is winter here and -20.
