A good small 120 watt system with simple controls which works well with a smart Panasonic tv
Likes:- small compact unit sits perfectly beneath my Panasonic tv type 40DX600 smart tv, I did not want a powerful 300watt amplifier, I recommend to get the subwoofer which comes with this unit. Set up was easy and I did not have to play around with the tv sound menu to select pcm etc. The sound bar installation does it all for you. It supports Dolby and DTS automatically, but this may be the fact that Panasonic have got the software and installation setup just right, perhaps if you had an other tv type you may have to play around with setting the sound menu to cope with the right audio format.Dislikes:- The sound quality is not great when watching normal programs like the bbc news etc. The sound bar remote control just gives you 3 modes, standard, music, and cinema. All the normal sound options on the tv menu become grayed out when the sound bar switches on. The subwoofer does not come with an on-off switch which was shown on the original design, this would be handy if you just wanted the sound bar on its on. However the system is great on films from like Netflix etc. The rich deep sound is very good for a 120 watt system. The indicating lights on top of the sound bar are not easy to see unless you stand up from your chair in the lounge and the increase/decrease buttons for the subwoofer do not give you a display on the tv, so you do not know what the subwoofer setting is.The sound seems a bit muffled or perhaps on the soft side compared to the original tv speakers, perhaps I just need to get used to it, I have only had the system for 2 days, so my ears have not adjusted to the change in sound mode.I must just update my review after 3 days trying out my new sound system. When I tried to use my FreeViewPlay catchup system on BBC iPlayer or Netflix using the inbuilt apps on my Panasonic 40DX600 tv the playback kept buffering and the sound distorted. When I switched off the sound bar the problem disappeared. I could cast BBC iPlayer using my Chromecast link so the problem was with the sound bar system. By experimenting with the subwoofer position and moving it to the other side of the lounge the problem was resolved. The subwoofer was obviously interfering with the WFI receiver inside my tv when it was too close to the left hand side of the tv.So take note you may have to play around with the subwoofer position to get it just right, and by the way the overall sound improved considerably.

Quality. Great Sound 🔊
I finally decided to go for this despite a few negative reviews. I have no complaints. The sub took a while to find the main unit which made me worry for a second but it found it on the 3rd attempt and its perfect. Sound is great. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Some people have said you don't have a sub volume indicator. You do. The lights at the front act as the volume indicator from left to right as they light up. However it isn't the same for the main volume. Which yea I guess it would have been nice to have but its no biggy.I have connected this with an optical cable to my TV (not supplied). I do not recommend only connecting this to a TV via Bluetooth. Use a Hdmi lead or an Optical cable. It's simply a better more reliable connection. Also don't put the wireless sub too far from the main unit. You may experience slight lag or drop outs. I hope this helped people. I'm happy with mine 😁

poor at best
arrived ok , only a small dint in the packaging. Sound Bar was good.Sounds ok. not worth the cash , think you are paying for the brand , less than £50 then might be ok (£100 no chance) . Felt very plastic, bass not brilliant either for the price.controls hard to follow , different colour for each input , no volume number.Sadly I would not recommend

Sound Quality Is Excellent, Easy To Install, With A Handy Slim Remote Control
Bought this sound bar, due to smart tv's speakers being around the back, so sound is being lost against the back wall of our living room. No more turning the volume up and down now. This sound bar has a 120 watts of sound...Easy to install, done within minutes. Plus i got this on Amazon Prime day so i saved £75...Win, Win. It has a handy remote control. The sound bar fits neatly under our Tv Stand and the Sub Woofer is nice and slim and stands by the side of our Tv. This Sound bar is bluetooth, so easy to set up to the tv, if your smart tv is bluetooth. However if your Smart Tv Doesn't have bluetooth...not to worry, just connect it to your tv via, HDMI cable...which isn't supplied, so you will need to purchase one, if you don't have any spare...The Subwoofer is wireless, just plug it into the mains and it will connect it's self to the sound bar...Have only had this for one week, but so far, so good.

Updated with longer term usage.not great.
I saw this pop up on prime day and thought I’d update my reviewThis device has a fair few issues, at least with my tv., it loses sync and has to be unplugged regularly - I don’t mean audio sync with lips, I mean hdmi sync. The pops and crackles are regular now, every time an input is changed. It doesn’t play well with a hdmi switcher, it has no hdmi inputs, the Bluetooth is unreliable and the sound, while it can be decent, is relatively muddy. There’s also no night mode for equalising dialogue. It is, in every way, a very cheap, sound bar so don’t be fooled into thinking it’s some amazing value based on the overly positive reviews here from people who obviously have simple setups and relatively low standards. This prime day deal is cheap and if this is actually all you can afford and have one device connected, or a smart tv, it’s probably fineIf you have a few devices (particularly a Philips tv) avoid it and save for something better.I’m a career technologist and have swapped every part to be swapped and contacted Philips for tv firmware updates (custom) but here we are..,I saw this listing shopping for a replacement!Old reviewThis sound bar works well. Mostly. I’m having some popping when shifting into different apps etc between the Appletv and Philips tv. It could be the soundbar or the tv or the Appletv. I can’t yet say. My guess is it’s the tv.The sounds itself is very good for a medium room or less and someone not expecting a movie theatre experience. A very big upgrade to tv sound.Dialog is clear. There is ample bass which can be reduced. The three modes for tv music and movie are well considered.Remote control is a bit slow with IR and I had some sync issues with power on via HDMI control but again I believe that’s down to my tv.For the price there’s not much breed. Even heading north past £200 is about where you’d wind up to find anything with discernible improvement.
