Condor MA26-498 Gadget Pouch, Coyote Brown

My favorite fire kit ended up getting too close to my wood stove and I melted the pouch. Luckily, I got it away from the stove before all the flammables ignited and the picnic table burnt down, but I needed a replacement. Ordered this tough, little Condor Pouch. It's rugged, well designed and perfect for my purposes, with plenty of room and two good-sized compartments with multiple slots. Pretty much a perfect size to keep my ferro rod, lighter, tinder, storm matches, fire starters and any other stuff well organized. I'm sure any outdoor enthusiast will find a bunch of other uses for it.

Being an ex-scoutmaster, I feel strongly about being prepared. So much so, that I am teaching my 10 year old daughter some basic skills right now and thought it’d be wise to give her a survival kit that she could carry with her on hikes and hunts when we hit the mountains every season.So keeping that in mind, this pouch is being used to hold all sorts of odds & ends for emergencies.What I appreciated most about this thing is how thought out the design was. There are three separate compartments to stow your gear. From a large zippered compartment, to a medium sized compartment that can almost fit my hand inside (this compartment size is adjustable with draw strings, to a small zippered compartment on the flap.Overall size would be comparable to a large grapefruit if packed to the max.The molle straps and webbing are a great feature as well and I think they will come in handy for various rigging needs.Seams, stitching, and zippers seem well made. But the plastic clasp to hold the flap down was a bit cheap feeling and misfeeds into the female adaptor if one isn’t careful.Overall I am quite pleased with this pouch and am very happy with the price point.

Perfect for my need

This is way too big to be comfortable for me as a belt pouch, but I am short and little. It might balance out a lot better on a taller person.That said, it’s sturdy and well made, and holds a fair bit of the things I would want with me in an emergency, and feels secure that things won’t fall out.To be fair the description says the measurements of it, but I have no sense of what that means on paper vs looking at it in front of me lol.

Have several CONDOR pieces on my kit. Solid stitching and stitch count. Snaps and buckles all good quality and well attached. Most products are stiff out of the pkg to be noted. Always on sale, worth the purchase if youre kitting out

This replaced a previous version that I simply wore out. It keeps necessary gear close at hand & organized

Great buy at a good price point. I bought one for my laser range finder. Well made with extra compartments.

Needed a small pouch to organize small items in my assault pack. Works very well and holds many items in an organized manner. Size is perfect and secures well onto my pack. Gotta love Condor.
