5 piece Japanese Plum Tree Tea Set (1 pot & 4 cups)

I've always wanted one of these. After I ordered it, I kid you not, it was on my door step in TWO days. I was really happy about that. The first time I used it, (after rinsing it out) i was slightly dissapointed to find that the tea tasted like the ceramic clay that the pot was made of. But I washed it out with hot water and some soap (obvious right?), and the next time I tried it, the tea tasted like amazing Sencha! The color of the clay is beautiful. Each cup, though it has the same design, looks unique from the hand painting. Me and my sister will usually share a pot once a week at our weekly traditional get togethers. It's been great so far, and it will be in the future, I can tell. I would not regret giving this as a gift to someone either. So, if you've wanted a teapot, but have had doubts, I'd say GO FOR IT! the price is definitely worth it. I use loose leaf Sencha in my tea pot. You could definitely use a tea bag too, but, If you havn't tried the loose tea, then I suggest you do. It tastes a lot better. :) Do some google research for questions on how to use it if you are unsure.
