The brand new pp9 battery that came with it still shrink wrapped was dead out of the box. It took a while to realise that is why the meter didn’t switch on. A new one solved that. The instructions are not the best but not the worst. I bought it to measure currents on vehicles and I haven’t yet tried that.

Clear display, easy to use and connects with the bluetooth app well. My only criticism with this meter is that to use the Bluetooth app it requires the GPS location to be switched on for the app to operate. Why!!! Like many other devices, I do not see or understand the requirement for a GPS location tracker for the app to be operational.

Found that the meter seems to work but the app doesn't. I can get a single reading on the app then it freezes, I then have to restart the app and turn the meter off and on and the same thing happens again. Not fit for purpose.

The actual unit seemed fairly well made , with smoothed edges etc, not rough to hold . However the accuracy was somewhat poor, maybe just a faulty unit,. not an expensive unit, having purchased other dvm's over time, for similar money ,with better accuracy.

I use this for checking current from solar panels and out of batteries. Works extremely well and the Bluetooth app is excellent

The meter worked but its accuracy is poor, wish I'd spent more and bought a different one to be honest, sorry, but it's not very good for the price

A lot of money for a device that only makes beeping sounds and flashes its LED screen, while what you actually ordered was a multimeter. Looks impressive, but does nothing. Nice for the Christmas tree, but not for your toolbox. Useless. That’s why I returned it. The little carrying case that comes with it is very handy, and would go well with a multimeter that actually works. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

Habe das Teil zurückgeschickt. Man kann sich aussuchen was für einen "gemessenen" Wert man möchte. Angezeigt wurden sogar negative! Ströme. Für mich unbrauchbar

Really nice bluetooth AC DC Clamp Multimeter. It helps a lot with phone connected with it.

Was looking for a recording device to determine power usage for our well. Since it is 240V, I couldn't just plug in a Killawatt device. This BTMeter just clamped on to one leg going to the well pump and showed amps drawn when it ran. Installed the app on an iPhone and it prompted me to enable bluetooth. The app then connected with the BTMeter automatically and the app was showing the measurement on the meter. I pressed start and ran a load of laundry. Then clicked save and selected to save in excel format. Then I connected to iPhone to my PC and used iTunes to get the files. Then I opened the CSV file as a spreadsheet and could see all the measurements which allowed me to see how often the pump kicked on, how long it ran each time, and the amperage drawn. This allowed me to calculate the KVA used by pump which is usually higher than the KW usage, but can be used as a conservative estimate of cost. Likes: * worked out of the box * app easy to set up and use for measurements (ran for 1-1/2 hour at 120 measurements/second) * was able to extract the CSV file into a spreadsheet and calculate the totals in there. Cautions: * the iOS app seems to have a bug that it will not show the data collected or graph the data, but the data was still recorded to CSV file. * the process of getting the data file off the iPhone and onto the computer takes a bunch of steps. Would be nicer to be able to just share the file to an email. * positioning of current clamp can be touchy and sometimes had to reposition to read zero when pump was off.

Funziona bene e malgrado alcune recensioni negative posso dire che: L'App è molto comoda e funziona. Le misurazioni non sono precisissime ma per un uso non professionale sono sufficienti. Per misurare la corrente ricordarsi di premere il tasto REL prima di pinzare il cavo per azzerare lo strumento. È vero che nella misura di tensione prima di applicare tensione ai puntali a volte da una lettura di qualche millivolt ma appena si applica tensione viene visualizzata la tensione corretta. Per concludere posso dire che considerando il prezzo la qualità è più che accettabile. Vedere e registrare i dati dal cellulare è troppo comodo.
