Stanbroil Gas Grill Valve Regulator for Weber Q200 and Q220 Series

Had to replace the regulator on my small Weber grill. This piece fits and works perfectly, and seems to be of high quality as well.

Great replacement component for our Weber Q1200. Came with instructions on how to swap out and my husband had it done in less than 30 minutes. We also ordered a replacement burner and a half griddle all from Stanbroil! Very pleased with the quality and fit.

A direct and perfect replacement for our OEM regulator. Easy to install with the supplied instructions, it does an excellent job regulating the amount of propane to the burner. A good value for the money and it has restored our grill to original operation.

This product was well packaged and came with very good instructions-with pictures. Many other reviews were positive and it was readily available~2days. So far, I am impressed. I put it side by side with my Weber 100 grill regulator assembly. Looks really good! (It's the shiny one in the pics) I took the original off several times and tried a few times to get it to produce full flame but alas.....after 15 years, it was tired or I just did not do the cleaning procedure correctly. So, Stanbroil. I assembled the 2 parts and tried to fit it in the old grill. Hmmmm..... Not so easy. The support bracket is a slightly thicker gauge. The adjusting knob assembly also needed a little shave to fit the Stanbroil. See last pic. With care and some muscle, the bracket was pressed fully and the whole assembly was installed as designed. Next.....fire that puppy up! Yay!! It works great. Flame height max at about 1/2 inch. Previously...about 1/4 inch. So, I am very happy. So, I deducted 1 star because to get it to fit flush with the knob bracket, I had to shave off a little plastic. I used a sharp chisel but also heard of some people using a file or sandpaper. This might be difficult for some people. The screws that fix the bracket to the regulator are stainless steel. They are tiny and hex slot (allen key). So, a little more difficult to manage vs the Weber which had both flathead screwdriver slot and 1/4 inch hex head. I probably could have just swapped them but my old screws were rusty. Overall- Great value for money and really nice finish. It all fits with a little tweaking. I would buy it again. Look for products with lots of reviews before you buy anything online. Thanks to Amazon, they promote reviews for consumer information.

Back in action!! I have an awesome Webber Q1200 I bought just a few years ago, recently I had issues with the flames staying lit despite the burner tubes being spotless and full tank of propane. This simple regulator valve works BETTER than the original ever did!! It only took me a few minutes to swap out, I didnt need to use the included bracket it lined up perfectly with the old one. Now my grill can easily get up past 550° which never happened before even when it was new. So it turned out to be a happy accident that this part went bad.. now my grill works better than ever!

Easy install

I used the regulator only. I've had it installed for about a month and it's been working great for me. Instructions are included making the process more straightforward. I'm satisfied with the way it controls the flame and temperature. It came with a new mounting plate and screws, but I just used the factory ones that came with the grill. It fit perfectly. I don't know what it looked like compared to the OEM because I had swapped it out with one from my q120 a while back when it stopped working. This allowed me to swap that one back so I can use both grills.

Much better replacement than OEM. Instructions were very clear. I noticed the grill gets slightly hotter, even with the original burner tube. I put a ribeye on the grate and it cooks at 475F easily on medium heat (it never went any higher than 400F previously). Two things I had to do: reuse old bracket (mounting holes different) and lightly file plastic near knob (to have it sit flush). I would’ve originally gave 4 stars but this isn’t an OEM product. This regulator is much better quality than cheaper ones on Amazon. Overall everything works better than the original…will update review in the future.

Fit my bbq perfect and fixed the issue. Bbq wasn’t getting over 300 deg before. Got up to 450 fairly quick with this new regulator. Definitely worth the replacement considering a new bbq is over $300. Would buy again. Bracket fit great on my Weber 1200. But if not just use your old one. If the flame isn’t really changing if set hi to low change the regulator.

I could not get the mounting bracket to fit. Probably my incompetence so I used the original bracket . Otherwise works well.

Easy repair for my 1200 plus the cheapest out there. Arrived super fast with prime and got us camping again!
