Simply stunning product. No more fatigue whilst quilting, the quilt glides over the surface.One point to remember: NEVER stitch with the feed dogs "UP". The feed dog motion will destroy the surrounding slider area.I do feel the slot where the needle goes through could be enlarged.

This is my second one. I have the queen size and wanted the larger one. They really do work. I would suggest cleaning off the back before use so that it really sticks. because they are sort of tacky - they attract dust and can shift under a heavy quilt.

The center hole is large and stretches easily. It would have been better to leave the mat while and have the customer cut it according to your own machine. I use clear shipping tape to secure the edges because my previous smaller mat became loose at the edges while machine quilting anlarger quilt and I stitched through the mat. Supposedly if you rinse the mat with water after each use, the mat will not loosen while stitching but I had done that. I tape the edges because I can’t afford to replace it each time I use it.
