Beautiful shiny, great craftsmanship

A wall hanger for sure but still a good knife for the money.

I ordered two. One had been reshipped and had cosmetic damage ( significant divot in the brass hilt). Neither hilt is properly aligned with the blade however, the flaws aren’t significant enough to disturb the balance. The balance and feel of these 38 ounce knives is actually quite comfortable. It definitely feels like a proper weapon in your hand but it would not be great in extremely close quarters. Takes some room to move an 18” weapon around. The factory sharpening is a joke. That’s ok, I’m sure a lot of people buy these just for show and having a real 12” razor straight out of the package might cause problems for the inept. Have them sharpened to your liking. Too bad nobody makes a left handed scabbard. Oh well, not my first rodeo.

Blade looks like it might be stainless, but I'm not sure. Definitely has a rat tail tang, and a thin one at that. Looks cool though, although I wouldn't recommend using it for any real work, as the handle might break while you're using it ( and I don't think I have to explain what might happen next!) I wouldn't recommend buying it for anything but for show.

I have many Bowie knives in my large collection this is my newest one and it is gorgeous! I love it. I can’t believe they can sell this for only $70.

Knife disappeared somewhere in California. Amazon did refund the price but I was looking forward to this very nice looking blade.

Blade is heavy but that's kinda the point. Handle is too big, like 1.5 hands worth. The middle leather handle section spins on mine, didn't take much force to pop it free.
