Security cameras must maintain stable connections - this one drops offline randomly making surveillance completely unreliable. Video quality disappoints significantly despite 2K resolution claims with grainy footage that lacks clarity for identifying people or reading details. The image quality appears closer to standard definition than genuine 2K resolution. Night vision performance is essentially useless with infrared that barely illuminates viewing area or creates washed-out images preventing identification of anything in darkness. Security cameras need effective night coverage. Motion detection proves unreliable with the camera either missing obvious movement events or triggering constantly for non-existent motion creating useless notification spam. False alerts and missed events eliminate security value. App functionality is frustrating with confusing interface, delayed live view that makes real-time monitoring impossible, or features that simply don’t work as described. Battery life falls far short of advertised duration with cameras requiring frequent recharging that defeats wireless convenience. Constant battery maintenance makes these impractical for security monitoring. Build quality feels extremely cheap with flimsy plastic housing that won’t withstand weather exposure despite outdoor camera designation. For security monitoring requiring reliability, invest in established camera brands with proven performance rather than cheap wireless cameras that fail basic surveillance functions.
