my partner used this for top surgery, it worked perfectly to help him during recovery. the pillow allowed him to rest his arms down a little more comfortably, and apply light pressure. The ice pack fit perfectly in the inner pocket, and it is a great size and it does not get too rigid after being frozen. There is an extra strap included (he thought it was to clip drains to in the shower- it did work nicely for that too) but the straps of the pillow kept falling off of his shoulders, so I threaded that extra strap around the shoulder straps at his upper back to help hold them more securely, it worked perfectly. he said it made it feel much more secure and comfortable.another thing- if the person wearing this is prone to throwing up after surgery or from the prescribed medicine, we were told to press a pillow to his chest if he starts heaving to avoid complications. when he felt nauseous, he put this on so I didn't have to fight him trying to get a pillow to his chest while he was sick to his stomach. it really would have been a more difficult and uncomfortable recovery without this.

A friend who had a double mastectomy recommended this pillow to me, and I’m glad I listened to her and bought it, I didn’t really used it much during the day but it was super helpful for night time , it helped me stay on my back and sleep comfortably without turning on my side. The materials are very nice, great quality. Highly recommend this pillow. I now that it might seem expensive but it’s totally worth it.

This pillow is so soft and comfortable and feels like a cozy hug. The ice pack is perfect. The straps are adjustable and fit very comfortably. I love that it wraps around your sides as I had lymph nodes removed and have an incision under my army that this protects. The seatbelt cover is also awesome and makes wearing a seatbelt after surgery very comfortable. I cannot stress enough how much I love this product - helps make a really bad situation a little better.

This product has been great as I recovered from a lumpectomy and reconstructive/reduction surgeries. I got the grey dot pattern. Material is so soft and the pillow is fluffy. Pockets are very convenient for your cell phone, tv remote, and even ice packs. Anyone having any kind of breast/chest surgery should have one of these! Totally worth it!

This product is a tremendous help as I recover from a double mastectomy. It allows me to interact safely with my beloved dogs without fear of damaging my surgical site. It’s very comfortable and well designed. The many pockets are convenient to hold my drains and other items and the straps keep it in place. I haven’t washed the cover yet, but expect no problems when I do. The seat belt protector worked as promised on the trip home from the hospital. I would recommend this product for anyone undergoing front surgery of any kind.

Recently had a mastectomy and this pillow was amazing. It was great to hold the ice in, a place to rest your arms on as well as I have a cat that loves to snuggle and this helped. It’s easy to wear and you don’t even realize it’s on. Highly recommend if you’re having a mastectomy or even lumpectomy.

I’m just 2.5 weeks out from breast reduction and honestly feel that this pillow has made all the difference in my post-op comfort. It holds the ice packs well and applies just the right amount of support while resting. It also prevents me from rolling onto my side when asleep. I made the mistake of not using it a couple of nights ago and woke up on my side - which is a post op “no-no”. Because of the way this pillow is made, you can’t inadvertently push it away when resting like you could with just a regular pillow.Also, get a u-shaped (pregnancy) pillow for recovery. You’ll need to rest in an upright position and have a place for your arms to rest away from your sides. ❤️

My boyfriend got top surgery and this pillow has been an absolute life saver! He finds it soft, comfortable, comforting, and getting him home from the hospital day-of surgery would have been horrible without it protecting his new surgery incisions and drains from the seatbelt and general bumps of the road in the car. We anticipate he will use it throughout recovery. It even helps with back sleeping! Get this in advance of surgery day so you have it for the ride home, you will need it. The fabric is a soft plush, feels nice and seems easy enough to spot clean (though we haven't really had to yet). The straps have a good amount of space for broader backed folks and larger individuals, and the straps are fairly adjustable. It seems to be quality constructed and well worth the money. Highly recommend.

This is a MUST have for those who are going to have a mastectomy. The pillow is of good size to protect the entire chest and make the person feel secure. The ice pack and lanyard are also a huge relief.

Bastante cómodo, lo use desde que salí del hospital, le puedes ajustar qué tan apretado lo quieres, también lo use para dormir y prevenía que me lastimara sin querer la zona de la mastectomía. Ya después de diez días lo dejé de usar para ara dormir. Mis doctores no habían visto esto, creo que no están muy convencidos pero no hace bingo n daño y a mi si me acomodó.

I shall rewrite this after my top.But it's slightly smaller then expected and the clip is alot smaller then anticipated. But is comfy to squeeze

I just received my pillow today and whilst it looks great, the product description is not 100%, where it says there is a machine washable cover. It only has one zip to one side of the pillow where you can remove the side pillow of one side. The other side and Centre component have no zips and no way of removing the cover for washing. So the product description is certainly misleading.The only way this is machine washable is if you shove the WHOLE PILLOW in the washing machine, which I am scared to do so as the spin cycle may distort the pillow shape. I haven’t used it as yet and will update my review as I use it next week after surgery.

This pillow served its purpose and I felt protected when my cat came around or when I wanted a hug. On the shortest length the straps fell off my shoulders. The ice pack pockets might have been better if they were connected so that the ice pack could fit in lengthwise to reach my armpit and over mastectomy scar would have been nice. I loved the note of encouragement that was in the package. Very nice touch and I keep it out so I can read it everyday.
