Killing Stalking: Deluxe Edition Vol. 1

Most twisted psychological horror
No, this is not romance. No, this is not a boys love series. Sungwoo is not gay. Yoonbum has Stockholm syndrome. This is pure psychological horror about murder, abuse, sa, childhood trauma, mental illness and mommy issues.Koogie did a fantastic job with Killing Stalking. Amazing art and a story that hooks you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

It was worth the wait
I started reading Killing Stalking back in May of this year and LOVED the story. I was so excited to see Koogi was releasing an English version so I had to get my hands on a copy. I could have ordered this from Barnes and Noble but I was going to be out of town when this would arrive, so I went with Amazon (they are the same price but you have to pay shipping with Barnes). The pop out you get it’s nice but I do wish they added some more pop outs or at least given us a poster. I cannot wait till November to get my hands on the second volume.

Absolutely OBSESSED...
The media could not be loaded. This manhwa is SOLIDLY in the horror genre, there seemed to be a lot of confusion on whether this story was a part of the BL/Yaoi genre because the relationship between our protagonist and his love interest is *problematic* to say the very least. This is the most pure psychological horror I have read in my life—it was like watching an extended horror movie for 24 hours straight (I may have gone on a binge read of this). While this isn't a romance, it is a beautifully tragic example of abuse conditioning. The nature vs nurture debate embodied in a pyschological horror poorly masked as a BL manhwa—don't be deceived, there is absolutely no love built into the relationships in this story, rather it is obsession, grooming, and conditioning and how it effects the minds of those victimized by it. This story will have you hating Sangwoo, pitying Bum, then pitying Sangwoo, and thanking the author for delving so deeply into the psychological trauma of a serial killer and allowing us to get to know these tragic characters so intimately. There are five volumes of this story in print and IMMEDIATELY upon finishing the final episode I purchased the first two volumes, a week later I purchased the third, and I'm about to check out with the fourth and fifth volume this evening. This series is a MASTERPIECE and I will lovingly revisit this often.TLDR; I read this manhwa online before I knew it was even in print, and I'm buying them all, THAT's how impactful this story was for me.
