I've been using this brand (best value for the $$) for nearly 1.5yrs now... not just for cooking, but when this potent pepper is applied around the foundation of my house keeps critters away from burrowing. I also add a tablespoon in with my bird seed & mix in a 2 gallon bucket before filling feeders. The birds are not bothered by the pepper, however, rodents won't touch it (keeping chipmunks, mice & rats away from our feeders & attracting them to our property).

Our new pup just loves to chew up our wide variety of plants and dig hole in the dirt wherever he can get to it. We "TOSS" (broadcast) this liberally anywhere he does his worst. It is non-toxic but irritates sensitive nasal membranes. Yes, we know, but it's the lesser of many evils. It works for what we wanted to do and it's cheap relative to purchasing this stuff in a grocery store or elsewhere.

This product was filled all the way to the top, it smells delicious and spicy.

It works well in my garden mixed with diatomaceous earth for bugs.

That's a lot of cayenne for the price, but regardless of how much I placed in and around the groundhog burrow it did not persuade the little bugger to go elsewhere. ("The little bugger" is not his real name, but the name I have actually blessed him with is not printable.)
