I am someone who experiences medium to heavy flow during periods and my school pants always used to get stained wearing regular pads. ALWAYS. I used to feel the worst during my periods - changing pads frequently, washing my stained clothes, checking my pants for stains, sitting consciously etc etc. I'm sure it's not just me who wished for a convenient alternative, something like a baby's diapers.
