Jabsco original quality. Replaced an older pump with the same mounting footprint and screw locations as the 2021 pump that I replaced. My original pump was a Jabsco 18590-7050. These seem to be discontinued. This pump has the same specs as the 7050 and same dimensions.

The Cadillac of macerator pumps. This is an expensive pump but it is worth the peace of mind. Other pumps claim to be self priming but they really aren't if there is any significant lift. Had a new pump of the same size installed and it did not pump, swapped this one in the exact place and it pumped immediately.

The pump is exactly the same as our original, so there were no modifications I needed to make, it fit and worked perfectly.

This worked well No problems

I've used this pump combo for about three weeks now. It actually churns quick enough that I have to turn it off and on a couple times while the fifth wheel black and gray tanks finish draining. I did have to rig a 3" NPT fitting to it as well as plastic weld a clear 45* bend to the fitting to attach the drain hoses to. It also didn't come with threaded fittings for the out line, but that was my oversight. Custom made jumper cables with 12 gauge cable to spade connectors between the truck battery and pump kick it on and off. With that being said a full 40~ gallon tank is empty in 1-2 minutes not counting flushing. I use it on both gray tanks as well after black into a 300 gallon drum in the bed of my truck with a gates valve, fire hose attachment and hose. Once 3/4 full I take it to a nearby gas station and dump for free. After every use I pour 5w-30 engine oil through it, about a cup worth to keep water from sitting in it.

Robust great pump

I have a sailboat that came fitted with these in two heads to just remove shower water. I other words, just 'gray water' and not sewage water. This should be so easy for a pump to do. BUT, over the past 5 ~ 6 years I've had to replace 3 or 4 of them (I've forgotten the exact number) . . and it's always for the same reason . . . they LEAK! There is a place on the pump body that, over time, will begin to leak. I've gotten two of them replaced under the one-year warranty but had to pay for the other replacements myself. I kept replacing them because I couldn't believe that this could be a recurrent problem. . . but it is! Also, I didn't want to have to find an alternative pump that would fit into the same spot with same hose connections. Finally a few months ago the latest pump began to leak again (just like all the others) and I 'bit the bullet' and switched over to a Whale Gulper pump . . . which has been working great. However, I didn't really need a 'macerator' function in my situation. So I don't know what I'd do for an alternative if I had needed a pump that could handle sewage, but I'd definitely steer clear of these!

Great little pump, straight swap for older one , about £50 cheaper than most other places and arrived on time.

used a Jabsco for 20 years .. needed to replace it .. went to the cheaper, not jabsco, one sold on Amazon.. strongly suggest you don't waste your money or time ..the cheaper unit would not prime even with a short 1 foot lift ..I return it and bought the Jabsco again .. self priming and run dry features .. it is by far a better quality product..

ottimo funzionamento

En remplacement de ma pompe/macérateur JABSCO défaillante après 8 années d’utilisation (tiges filetées en laiton corrodées et pompe fuyarde) j’ai voulu, dans un premier temps, faire des économies avec une marque 3 fois moins chère ( OSCULATI ) …. très mauvaise idée !! La pompe paraissait identique mais démarrait de manière aléatoire. J’ai soupçonné un défaut du circuit électrique , mauvaise masse, interrupteur défectueux etc… et finalement j’ai retourné la pompe à Amazon (remboursée très vite). J’ai commandé cette pompe JABSCO qui fonctionne parfaitement et démarre au quart de tour! De plus le nouveau modèle livré a des tiges filetées en inox et une sécurité marche à sec. Je ne ferai plus jamais d’économies de bout de chandelle !
