First of all, the book has really cute pictures of animals, and it has looseleaf pages so you can remove any that you don't need (if you didn't have a shower, for example, you can remove those pages).However, there are several drawbacks. When I opened the package, the chemical smell was overpowering. Perhaps this will fade with time, but if it doesn't, I'll be sending the book back. A bigger problem is that almost every page has a place for photographs, which would not be a problem except that in the middle of the space for them is a notation of what they should be ("Baby's first smile," for example) and the size (6x4). Some places for the pictures are for portrait and some for landscape orientation. What if you don't have a portrait orientation picture of the baby eating the first solid food? And some spaces are for bigger photos, such as 6x8 for birthdays. Perhaps these notations can be covered with stickers, but I don't like how rigid the format is. And the last problem is that looseleaf pages tear away from the binding easily, so if your little one likes to "read" the story of his or her life, you'll probably end up with lots of pages that are no longer attached.Between the horrible smell and the rigid format, this book was a disappointment.

This is definitely better than some of the books out there I’ve found. I like how large it is. We have another book I like a bit better that includes questions this one does not, but the larger format allows for some things like dental chart. There are some wasted pages, like the 3 letter from the parents pages at the beginning. For me it is worth using both books we have and having a little overlap, since they are different enough. If I recall correctly, this one was a lot less mom-directed than the other one we have, which I had to go through and add Daddy references throughout, since I am not only fully involved in my child’s upbringing (stay at home dad), but I am also doing 99.9% of the scrapbooking and such, and so it’s a bit annoying when books totally exclude the fathers or treat them as an afterthought.

Super cute book! It has lots of places for pictures and cute prompts that I wouldn't have thought of. It also has a little storage place in the back for keepsakes, which is a great idea! I can't wait to give this book to my daughter as a gift someday for her birthday ❤️ There are 2 pages for "a letter from my parents"...I wish there were a few more of those pages throughout...but at least there is a lot of space 😊 Feels well made and doesn't feel like it will fall apart.

I was Looking for a baby book that also had a baby shower guest list area and this had just that and so much more. It’s so cute and comes with monthly stickers to keep track of your little ones milestones. Definitely get this book for you or as a gift!

This book is well-made and the stickers are great. We got double stickers in ours - some at the end of the book and others loose in the box. I think you might get month stickers with just the book so if that's all you care about, you don't need the 'gift set' which seems to just add the holiday stickers.The pages are thick, and I like the binding because you can add photos without it straining the binding due to the coils. But it references 'mommy' and 'daddy' everywhere and seems to have been written by someone who might not have English as a first language? It talks about 'losing teeth' for example, when baby books typically talk about teeth growing in. We're working around it, but I wouldn't give it as a gift.

My friend is doing a Jungle theme and she just loved the book. I had everyone at the baby shower sign it as part of her memory. I also love that it has pages to write the baby shower gifts and person gifting.Over all it's a GREAT gift!

I bought these for my daughter and another got my daughter’s friend. And... we all LOVE them! So cute... user friendly and will become a true keepsake

I'm afraid I didn't open the package. It is a gift and the box was wrapped in cellophane wrapping. So I really couldn't see the insides of the baby book. If it has all that was stated in the advertisement, I'm sure the recipient will be very happy with it.
