I love this kettle
It looks better than its pictures, nice gloss black. Wish I could find a toaster to match.Temperature control great for when you want warm rather than hot.Don't think any kettle is great with energy but with this you can set to lower temperature which saves. I only heat to 90° for my coffee.

good kettle but...
It's a mixed bag of pros and consOn the plus side:- Cool outer case (great around kids)- Water stays warm for longer (nice cost staving)- Holds a good bit of water- Boils reasonably quickly- Cheap (it was on special)- Great temperature display- Stainless steel inside (so no plastic taste)- Easy to clean inside and outCons:- If you pour too quickly the water dribbles down the sides of the kettle and onto you or the floor.- Not as fast boiling as my last bosh kettle (which took 3:15 but cost 3 x as much and broke after 2 years)If they could solve the dribbling water issue it would be the best kettle out there!

Underwhelming, broke quickly
The kettle is relatively nice but has large flaws. The kettle looks nice, has a big opening for filling is lightweight (when empty obviously). And there ends the positive things. The spout is horrendous. Cannot get a good stream and be very careful when pouring as it can go everywhere if you don’t get the angle just right, which still has too wide an arch unless your filling a swimming pool, or one of those sports direct monster mugs. The filter on the spout is just some drilled holes, so any old line scale just pours straight through into your mug so keep on top of your descaling!! The holes must be 3mm each. Pointless! The temperature display seems to be off as it sits there WAY too long filling the kitchen with steam before clicking off.And now it has developed a tendency to click itself off at around 70 degrees if you use it again too quickly since the last boil… kinda defeats the purpose of a kettle. It’s also now convenient just outside the return period of 30 days by just over a week.Do yourself a favour buy a named brand like we now have to…

Brilliant
The media could not be loaded. I have never spent over 30.00 for a kettle before which is why Ive always been disappointed, I was bit nervous about buying this as mine have always been filter kettle. I am so glad i did its worth every penny. I just wipe it out with a warm cloth once a week and that's all it needs. It does say clean once a week with a little water and vinegar but Ive not had to do that yet. I am expecting a grandchild so to have the button to boil the water to the correct temperature for a baby's bottle is great. Love to keep warm button. When full to max it makes at least 4 cups of coffee. Love it so much :)Is this under any sort of guarantee i got it in February and it now blows the fuse every-time i try and turn it on, I dont know how to get in contact with seller

Rubbish
This is a very smart-looking kettle. The black finish, with a slight green tinted LED screen, really gives the kettle a nice futuristic finish. It's tall, holds plenty of water, should you need to make coffee/tea for a lot of family/friends/guests.Noise isn't too loud, but typical kettle-boiling-water sounds, nothing different from any other kettle. The front panel has touch sensitive buttons, to select temps, start/stop the kettle, and a keep warm button. This is where the kettle starts to lose stars. The start buttons should be just that, a start button. You fill the kettle, or even just use what you need, then get on with other things while it boils. But it doesn't always work like that. Instead, you can put your water in, press start, walk away, then come back a few mins later and the kettle hasn't started because the screen is flashing with a temperature number showing, it hasn't actually started. So you now have to start it again, this time making sure it has actually started the boil. This is really annoying because you now need to remember that extra step, a step that should not be necessary - I mean, start should mean start, NOT select temps, that is what the + and - buttons are for.Another thing that will lose a star is the spout, if you're not careful the water will go everywhere because the spout has a weird kind of opening, and boiling water can completely miss your cup - you have to pour the water slowly. It will also run down the front part of the kettle, so make sure you wipe that off, you don't want to put the kettle back on it's base with water near it's base.Overall, a nice-looking kettle, good features, but a few annoying things that might put some people off buying it.UPDATE:The kettle now no longer re-boils, instead it just sits there with the temp number flashing on and off. This is how it happens. Boil the kettle, make a pot noodle, or hot drink, then a bit later try to boil again for another drink, and the kettle just sits there and won't boil. The start button should be just that, TO START THE DAMN KETTLE, but no, it just highlights the current temp. You have to switch the kettle off at the mains, wait a bit, then switch it back on, then try the start button again.Utter rubbish. Do there people actually test their kettles ?Save your money, buy something else.
