I have tried a couple of different retinoid so far, both Asian Beauty and western. I was enjoying Beauty of Joseon retinal serum, but it is actually not as effective as I hoped. I have a patch of discoloration on my forehead that looks like melasma, and have tried lots of different things to lighten it since it showed up over a year ago. This product has seemed to make the fastest and most noticeable difference in how dark that patch is, even more than azelaic acid. I think the combo of Tranexamic acid, the carrot derived ingredients, niacinamide, arbutin, vitamin C (sea buckthorn extract), and the retinol working together have made this a better/more efficient product for me. It does have fragrance, but this hasn’t bothered me. It smells like citrus. Overall, if you’ve tried other single-active products and haven’t been impressed, give this one a try. I liked it enough after half a tube to buy a second two-tube pack when these were on sale a little while ago. (I currently have 3 unopened tubes.)

Its perfect for preventing wrinkles

This double pack of Carrot Vita Eye and Face Cream is very thin and almost applies like a serum. It isn't too greasy though and it absorbs quickly. I have very dry skin and need much more hydration than this cream provides but, for under makeup, this works well for me. I apply a thin layer not just around my eyes but on my entire face. There is barely any scent and it absorbs with no residue. I then apply my makeup as usual and my face looks dewier and fresher. I would not use this as a night cream because it is so lightweight but for daily use for a bit of hydration and possibly some depuffing around the eyes, it's quite good.

Carrots are one of those very healthy foods that I tend to never eat enough of. Great for both the body and the skin. Love that this contains carrots in a skincare product. That way it goes direct to the skin. I've used other skincare products for many years now and they always seem to do me good. Though you can use this for any part of your body, I tend to focus on using this along the eye area because it has that luscious texture that I love using around my eyes. You can tell that it's rich in emollients, but does not leave the skin feeling oily or greasy. Absorbs well and is quite moisturizing. Makes the skin feel soft and look healthier. Seems clean and gentle and should be okay for those with sensitive skin. Helps to depuff the eyes as well as fade some discoloration. Also diminishes fine lines. Works great with other skincare products. Very good for all skin types. Also good for both men and women.
