I'm remodeling my bathroom and since all the tile is being ripped out of my shower, this was the perfect time to update the typical drain look. I'm so glad I found this drain as an option! Now that my shower is done, the drain blends so well that you hardly know it's there. Looks really nice! I purchased the 8" since it was installed in the master suite shower (bigger shower). Note, I was concerned that without all the little holes for draining, that the water wouldn't drain as well as that grate-style. That's not the case at all, after several showers over the past month, not once has there been any standing water. When I remodel the guest bathrooms, I'm going to purchase the 6" version. Great buy!

Nice looking concealed drain. The strainer basket is too restrictive and does not allow the water to drain fast enough even when it is clean. The water fills up in the shower pan when showering

The product is of good quality and includes good drainage design. The tray itself is thicker than most tile and this consideration needs to be had at room design. If you wanted to use an existing tray in a shower it would be too tall for water run off. I do not recommend purchasing this product as a replacement to a fix. There is zero guidance or recommendations provided from manufacturer upon purchase, the installer should be experienced to avoid headaches.
