Quality product and price - cut easily. I wanted it for padding of a ski bag, and it fit the purpose very well. No odor, and it bounces back fine after being compressed; not brittle and flexible to the extent that I need it to be.

I keep two chain saws in a metal tool box so I bought this to pad the bottom of the box. It keeps my saws safe. I got the exact width of the box. Works gteat.

Easy to cut and form, used it to mask out a few things within a storage box and it worked perfectly. Trick is to keep using a sharp blade to get smooth edges.

Used to insulate a sailboat hull. I adhered it with contact cement and the durability impressed me.

Foam is quality stuff. However, 1/2" is a bit deep for cutting out and shadowing tools, i.e. wrenches. Foam was not easy to cut, even with a super sharp craft knife. I'm using it to line the drawers in one box and just setting the wrenches on top of it....they don't move. I'll be using something different for my base tool box.

The foam was perfect to wrap my sons cast in to allow him to be able to play soccer. The foam passed all the guidelines required. It helped its thickness and was easy to cut with scissors.

It sounded like from the description it would be easy to cut with scissors or a sharp knife. I tried using a very sharp knife with a new blade and all it did was tear. It would cut into the outer "skin" and then as you pulled the blade it would just shred it. Very disappointed as I wanted to cut it into shapes and that wasn't going to be possible with this product.
