Functional and looks good
The item works exactly as needed. The hardest part was assembly. Holes are pootly drilled or not at all. I had to drill the holes for the hinges myself

Difficult to Assemble - Nothing Aligns!! DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT A DIY PROJECT!!
The other reviews are spot on regarding how hard it is it assemble. Do not buy this breadbox if you don't want a DIY project. Here are some issues I ran into:- holes do not align properly- wrong pilot hole size used for the screws they supplied (screws can't go in, forcing breaks the screw)- cheap quality screws (they break because of small pilot hole)- pilot holes not drilled for the full length of screw (causes wood to split)- warped wood pieces causing visible gaps (defeats the purpose of a breadbox; too much airflow)- wrong channel groove size on part #1 for part #4 (you cannot slide the #4 in so you can seal the top with #5)What you need to do:- buy new #4 x 1 inch screws from your local hardware store- re-drill the pilot holes with a 7/64 in. drill and go 1" deep so your screws will go in properly without splitting the wood.- chisel the channel groove on part #1 so part #4 can slide in.- make sure part #2 & #3 align with part #1 properly, then drill your own screw holes - do not use the pre-drilled parts since they don't align- use wood filler or wood glue to seal the seams on part #4

Attractive.
The assembly instructions were terrible. No words, only pictures, and poor ones at that. After assembly the bread box seems to be a little flimsy and the door does not fit well.

Broken parts and warped wood
I bought two of these for my pantry. I wasn’t expecting them to be perfect based on the price. However, two boards were cracked and all of the boards were warped making it difficult to put together. The doors also don’t close well because the “walls” aren’t square due to the warping. Don’t recommend.

Bread Box
My only problem with it is I had to assemble it, we keep it full with breads, bagels and other things. It is well worth it's handiness. Like it a lot.

Heed the warnings
I purchased this expecting a difficult assemby per the previous review. They were not wrong. My issue though was with the back piece. It was warped and didn't fit into one of the slots so I had ro sand it down. The screws for the legs were also too long so I had to search for shorter ones to use. I finally managed to get the thing together. While it is super cheaply made it does look decent and it is very spacious. For $20 I can't really complain too much. Just know it is difficult to assemble and you may want to throw thw entire thing in the trash in the process. If you're willing to look past the struggle of assembly it's a super affordable breadbox.

A little hard to put together
The holes needed to be drilled larger, but for the most part easy to put together.
