It appears that it will do the job it is intended too. I have not had the misfortune of needing it yet. It will work on 1/2" thread fire sprinklers. It may work on some of the 3/4" heads with small orifices, it will not work with 3/4" sprinklers with a large orfice. The only Con is that it is not that well made for th price being paid. When you look at the cost of water damage the price is not bad considering the money it will save by stopping the water quickly ad reducing water damage. Every building maintenance shop should have one of these if your property is covered by fire sprinklers.

Used these in our construction department and each plumber carries one while work is being done on the sprinkler systems.

Found it a little challenging to use, if sprinklers are recessed.

Very well made tool, should do exactly what it's supposed to achieve....thank God have not had to use it. The way I look at it its like having a fire extinguisher; you may never ever use it but boy oh boy if needed you'll wish you had one on hand.

If you have fire sprinklers in your home--you will want to have this gadget to turn one off should it accidentally come on or be knocked on by someone moving furniture, etc.

I was not happy with this tool I did not work on a busted sprinkler head

Great to have on hand in emergency
