Bosch has always made good quality products, this oil filter is as good or better than OEM, the case is thick, the gasket is quality, filter has lots of layers, if you do not drive much and only change our oil 1-2 times a year and the oil filter stays on your car for along time , a quality filter is a good idea, or you have a 4x4 and the oil filter might hit a rock, or you are going on a long long long road trip, I got Bosch or mobile one or k&n filter when I plan to drive my car cross country at +10 hour drives, on my daily cars I just get the cheap walmart brand and change my oil every 3000-4000 miles or 1-3 months.

Good Oil Filter Kit
Used for a 2017 Toyota RAV4. Takes time to drain old oil and remove filter (time needed to drain). I think Toyota changed standard filters to this new filter so people have to bring their Toyota to the dealer for maintenance (so they can try to sell a newer model). It takes about 45 minutes to change oil/filter using this filter kit, but the Bosch filter is good.
