I bought this 2-pack of AloftSun Solar Motion Sensor Lights specifically to install at the entrance of my driveway — and they turned out to be exactly what I needed. Installation was super simple — just stake them into the ground, no wiring or tools required. I positioned them on both sides of the driveway entrance, and they immediately made a huge difference. The lights are very bright, with a cool white glow that really helps illuminate the area when I come home at night. The motion sensor is fast and responsive, and I love the 3 lighting modes. I use the dim + motion mode, which keeps a soft glow all night and brightens up when someone approaches — it’s both practical and adds a nice security touch. Even on cloudy days, the solar charging has been reliable, and the lights stay on all night. Nice lights, very bright.

Bought these less than 2 weeks ago. Followed instructions prior to turning on and one has already quit on me. I recommend you find another brand. I will reach out to seller but my guess is they won’t replace. If I get contacted by the seller I will adjust my review. Update: after posting my initial review, the sella’s contacted me and offered a refund. I asked for replacements instead since I bought based on reviews. The seller agreed and I received new lights quickly. Happy to say the replacements are working at this point. I will change the star rating to 4 stars since the first shipment was bad but seller was proactive and took action.

These lights are great quality and bright! They look nice in your landscaping and easy to use. I have had the same lights for years and just keep buying more of them…they will last you.

I bought these to illuminate a flag at night.... even with two of them pointing at the flag, you could barely see they were active. Flag was mounted on the porch, only about 6' from the ground, so it's not a height problem. They were completely unacceptable for this, so I moved them to another location to use as general lighting.... again, they're so dim as to be virtually invisible from a distance. They don't stay lit for long, either.... I've yet to see them stay lit longer than 3-4 hours, even on the low setting. Also, the design is very inflexible. The solar panel is molded into the same case as the light, so you can either adjust the light to point where you want it, *or* point the solar panel so it gets optimal sunlight. Not both. Unless you happen to use this light nearly horizontally and oriented in the correct direction, you won't get much sun exposure.

Just ordered my second set of these! First set was purchased in 2022 and still going strong. Very bright light with motion sensor. I use mainly to deter animals from flower gardens.

Installation is simple with no wiring required, making them perfect for patios, garages, walkways, driveways, and backyards.

For the price they are good. A bit too sensitive at times. They detect trees blowing in the wind 20 feet away. So on windy nights my driveway is like a light show.

These lights are fantastic, charge well and are very bright. But the plastic they have chosen for the plastic ground spikes is all wrong. The plastic is so brittle that two spikes were even shattered inside the box on opening it up. Another 3 craked putting them the first time into relatively soft April UK soil. Then I needed to reposition two of the lights and when pulling and twisting the spikes to get thm out of the ground, they both cracked and shattered. So in summary, love the lights, hate the spikes.

The sensor is very sensitive and the light is bright. We are using them in the backyard and on the driveway. Works well in winter too
