Streamlight 85115 Flip Lens for TL-2, NF-2, Scorpion, Strion, Red

I started using this right out of the box and it was perfectly made, and well suited for my light. Exectly what I needed!

Purchased for my Streamlight headlamp although it isn't specd for it. A few wraps of electrical tape around the light and it fits great.

I love this thing, you can switch from white to red instantly. The mount and lens seem good quality, I've used it at one FTX already and will be using this at Army ROTC summer training for a month so it'll get a thorough rundown then. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact the light gets dimmer when you use it cause it decreases the amount of light going through. But you use it at night so it's not anything to terrible.

I bought this in hopes it would fit my new 1L-X. It does not. My fault. However, it is very well made.

This product is perfect for what I needed, which is protecting my night vision while driving and around the campsite. When you look at the picture you might think there is a ring of nothing around the red lens. This is not the case. What might appear to be a gap between the lens and the outer ring is actually a metal retaining ring that holds the red lens in place. This product is very well made. The fit to the Strion flashlight is very snug, so don't worry about this thing falling off at the wrong time. The lens is easy to flip open if you need white light, but when closed there are no white light leaks at all. The design is great, the manufacturing is top notch, and ease of use couldn't be better. Would I recommend it to a friend or family member? Absolutely. If you walk, jog, or bicycle in low light situations I can see this being a great safety addition to your outfit. If you already have the Strion this product is worth every penny.

I bought this because I wanted a green filter on my tlr-1 light to keep from blinding myself in the middle of the night if I have to use it for identification. I knew this would be slightly too big so I wrapped the outer bezel of the trl-1 with electrical tape a few times. Now this filter fits perfectly! Snug and secure and the lid closes perfectly. Yes, Streamlight makes a filter specifically for the tlr-1 but the front isn't hinged so it works differently. With this one I can keep the green on it when it is needed and simply use a finger and flip down the front when I need a bright white light. This filter also fits other lights I own that have a one inch head. I am probably going to buy a red and IR to test out also.

I purchased both the red and blue flip lenses for use with the Streamlight Strion LED flashlight. The fit is too tight. The flashlight inserts into the assembly halfway at best, which seems to limit the full functionality of the colored lenses. The hinge mechanism is flimsy and weak. This will not hold up in the field. The colored lenses themselves are secured by small plastic tabs. One tab has already broken off the blue lens. The blue lens does not filter to 460 nm. If that is what you are looking for, this is not the filter for you. It's difficult not to be disappointed, but for the price, I'm not too surprised. Amazon was great!

Size wise, the Streamlight filter 85115 fits a 32.0 mm flashlight head. It's a very snug fit at 32.0 mm, which is the upper end of what it will fit on. For example, I've tested it on the Nitecore EDC35, P20iX, and the AmuTorch BT35 (LEP). It's more suited for the BT35 because the wide bezel ring blocks out a lot of the light for the EDC35 and P20iX. For the focused beam of the LEP, the Streamlight bezel doesn't interfere with the light. If you're looking for other 32.0mm filters, then the Nitecore NFR32/NFG32/NFB32, and Weltool LF32G are two other options that are also 32.0mm.
