"STEM, STEAM, Make, DREAM" is a scholarly text written with the community in mind. This is a book for the living room, rec room, board room, and classroom. What is more transformational in the life of a young person than learning the value of what they already have inside and how they are a vital contributor to the learning of today and tomorrow for our communities as a whole? - T Jones

A must read for all ages! Dr. Chris Emdin is the jewel of this new generation. A chosen few know now, the rest will catch up and find out later!

This STEM book is part-treatise, part-storytelling, part-action guide, and full embodiment of what young people can do if we embrace their genius. Emdin takes us on a journey of "reckoning, recommitting and reimagining" so that students can see themselves engaging in this rigorous and meaningful work. In each chapter there are featured examples of what this looks like within school settings and global projects. There also is a robust list of resources to launch further collaborations with community partners. Emdin is a wonderful writer and the reader can feel his passion for the subject and the young people that are the heart of his work.

Chris Ending has once again produced a necessary teaching, parenting and supporting work, focused here on STEM/STEAM. Potent, relatable, full of lessons and very well done. A must have.
