Purchased these boots for a winter travel trip (cold, snowy, slushy wet, etc.) and they served their purpose. They kept my feet warm, dry, and comfortable. Despite the weather/wear abuse, they are still in tact and still look great with some cleaning care. The boots also served as my main outdoor walking boot so they had to be comfortable throughout the day. They held my weight well and my feet never felt beat up despite wearing them for hours at a time. They also never felt heavy after hours of wear. It was equally important that the boots had lugs on the bottom for safe walking traction and they came through there also. Picked the camel color so they went with most of my clothes and were cute the same time. After my trip, they double as outdoor hiking boots in the desert every weekend and have been just as useful there as well, I just added my own inserts for support. Best $50 I ever spent!

I purchased a pair of these years ago and wore them out. Fantastic boots for the money. Waterproof (I have worked in construction and farming), and super comfortable. I have had a couple pairs of slip-on work boots because I don't really like the hassle of bending over to tie laces but I find that these are the best for my plantar fascitis so it's worth the bend-over. Just got a new pair in a new color at a great price. They are as comfortable as the last and I hope they will give me many years as wel!l!

This is my brand new pair next to the same boots I bought three years ago. I'm an avid hiker, I hike weekly, and my three-year-old boots have been to the Alps and the Julian Alps with me multiple times. The only reason why I bought a new pair is I noticed I was getting quite a bit of wear on my right foot. I bought the new pair put them on and I'm so surprised by how comfortable they are right off the bat. Because I hike so much, I've purchased more expensive pairs including Merrill and Hoka and returned both to REI because these boots are so much better and a lot cheaper. The one extra I added for additional arch support is new insoles (Superfeet). They sell some on Amazon and they're pretty pricey but worth it if you're a frequent hiker. Even better, I got the new pair for half price because I guess the color is not as popular? $49 for these boots is an amazing deal.

Comfortable good fit

Bought these for a recent trip to Alaska! These were perfect for walking even around the small towns that we visited. We hiked up several mountains and the raining weather in Alaska was no problem for these boots. My feet never got wet! It wish they had a little more arch support but the high top kept my ankles from rolling which I am very prone to, but did not rub and cause discomfort. They were a little on the heavy side but not to bad. I think they are a great quality for the price you pay for them. I wear a size 9.5 and bought a 10 in these. Like I said only thing I wish was better was I wish there was more arch support.

These boots offer comfort, a spacious toe box, and no break-in period. They provide the stability and traction you need to hike any mountain trail and they have the added bonus of being waterproof. These are perfect for spring, fall, and winter hikes but might be a little too warm for summer… at least here in the south.

I have been looking for a boot to give me better traction on snow and ice, as I love to go for hikes all year round. These boots are great. I feel secure, and my feet are warm. I wear them with my insoles, and they are comfortable on the footbed. I did get a blister on my left heel and a little soreness around the tendon but a wide bandage help to cushion the area and everyday I break them in a little more. My toes fit well even though they give the impression of a small foot; I am 10 feet in size, and length-wise, I haven't had any issues. They are waterproof, but I sprayed them with suede protection as well. These are great stylish boots I would 100 % recommend. I would buy them again.

I bought these tied the West coast trail and was a little scared as they were below the budget that other friends allotting for their shoes. However, these proved to be the best on the trail. I felt sturdy on my feet. I wasn't slipping out anywhere. They were comfy, I did spray them with some leather protector and the waterproofing was pretty good. Did 75 km start to finish and they held up great.

Love this hiking boot. Super comfy and feet stay toasty. Not too heavy, but sturdy, durable sole with good grip on ice. Highly recommend!
