I don't know why I didn't know these existed but they are a game changer! For the longest time we had just used oven mitts when handling our pots and pan handles but this has made it so much nicer! Such a great quality of life upgrade for the money!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve burnt my hand while using my cast iron pan! These handles are fantastic. They are thick enough to protect but still malleable enough to easily put on and remove. I am extremely happy with my purchase

Since my previous review, I find I can use the silicone sleeve on the handles of my cast iron pans if I am cooking on top of the stove but I still can't use it to take my cast iron out of a hot oven because the silicone heats up too quickly. Also, the sleeve is difficult to slide onto the handle of my cast iron due to the slight narrowing of the sleeve. The silicone sleeve for the pot lid, however, is perfect and I am very pleased with it. I give the product a "4" out of "5". I have two cast iron pans, one 12-inch and another 6-inch. I can't slide the handle onto the 12-inch because it can't slide past the narrow opening. It slides onto the 6-inch with no problem but slip-sides while holding making it difficult to hold the handle while cooking. The most disappointing part of the handles is how fast they heat up trying to take a cast iron pan out of the oven. So hot, in fact, that I needed a towel or pot holder to even touch it trying to take it out. I will try and see if I can send them back for a different cover.
