I purchased this cable to replace the stock cable that came with my HIFIMAN Arya Stealth headphones. It’s used to connect to the balanced output on my xDuoo TA-20 headphone tube amp. I have to say I’m quite happy with the quality of this cable.The cord feels high end when held. The wood accents are classy and complement the blackness of both the headphones and amp quite nicely. I really don’t see the point in spending more money if you’re in the market for a long balanced headphone cable for your HIFIMAN headphones.

While I enjoy the audio quality you get with this cable there is one aspect that rubs me the wrong way. Well, rubs itself the wrong way. If the cable is hanging down at an angle the left and right cables tend to rub anytime I move and I can hear the grinding sound in the headphones.This has no affect on the audio so as long as the cable hang straight down there is not an issue.

Seems to be a good replacement cable at a decient price.

Hello, Welcome to my easy review.I ordered this cable to connect my new HIFIMAN HE 1000 se headphones from Amazon (see review).If I move my headphone amp closer I can use more expensive cable, I bought this cable due to its length so no need to arrange equipment. I've not used it much but looks good, fits nicely. I would say it's on the warm side of neutral, standard for copper cables. Sounds clear and detailed,maybe needs some running in.Good Amazon service as usual, arrived on time from US to China. I even received a 5 pence GBP refund on my Import tax.

I have a Schiit Jotenheim balanced headphone preamp and Hifiman Arya Stealth. This was mainly to replace the Arya headphone jack that came with the headphones which was insanely short.At the very least, it sounds just as awesome as the jack that came with the Arya, only 10 feet long now. Which means I can lay down on the couch to listen, instead sitting up and having my head next to the preamp.I wasn't really expecting much more from utilizing the balanced port, if it is there, I'm not audiophile enough to pick up on it. If you like to move around a lot, it does pick up some sound from somewhere on the top of the cord when it rubs on clothing, but I'm usually just laying there and could care less if it happens.

Cable works well and I like the feel. I could not pick up any distortion, thus all good with functionality. I cannot claim any sound improvement compared to other cables I have, but I was not expecting that anyway. I could not find good alternatives on Amazon at 10ft length, so thank you for manufacturing this. The cable sleeve feels nice but it can produce some noise by scratching on clothes when moving the head left and right. Not a problem for me. I must say I really don’t care for the walnut/gold xlr and wish instead there was a Neutrik or Amphenolconnector even for a small price increase. If that can be arranged, the cable could be a no brained for many.
