This was bigger than I was used to for mini recorders. I only need them for meetings and trainings until I can get home to take better notes. This was rather heavy to be a mini recorder. I'm sure it will work wellf for others but it was just not for me.

I got a few days ago and tried it out by first setting it on a table and talking for a few minutes. The sound playback is good and was easy enough to figure out. After trying to stick it to metal I made the mistake of thinking the magnetic area was the little legs, or the small ends and was about to return it. Well after the seller contacted me and told me the magnetic area is on the one side (left side) it is indeed magnetic. Duh! The one side that I didn't try was the side that has the magnet. So I'm keeping it. Now I just hope I don't forget to grab it before leaving the office or classroom.

No instructions

So this thing worked great for many months until it stopped recording. The device still charged though, just didn’t record. I reached out to the seller and explained the situation. They sent me a replacement right away — no hassles. I received the new unit within a few days. I think I just received a defective product and the replacement works perfectly. Take note I ordered this many months ago and the seller still accommodated my request. Awesome customer service, they really stand behind their product and care for the customers. Kudos!
