Great mat for your messy eater. The lip around the outside of the mat was exactly that I was looking for....not too high so you can easily trip over it and it makes it easy to sweep the spilled food between cleanings. Washes up very easily. Only wish that the color selection would be better. It would be nice if it came in different colors to compliment your room color.

Great for two large bowls
I always spill water pouring it into my cat and dogs bowl - but this helps with the spills. Also works well for splashing.
