TAHARINellie Long Coat for Women-Insulated Jacket with Removable Faux Fur Trim

I’m 5’5” 154lbs and I bought a size large, which is my usual size. In “Pale Oak” color. I bought this coat for an upcoming trip where I will walking around all day at Christmas markets in freezing temperatures and snow. Trying this on, I put on my thickest sweater under it , and it still fit comfortably in my arms and allowed for bend.The fur trim is nice and it snaps onto the hood so you can remove it. The actual hood itself is not removable. The hood is a little big for me but when I put a knit hat on my head first, it held it right where I needed it to be. I like that it will keep the wind/rain and cold off my face. I don’t like the draw tie on the hood, but that’s really not an issue for me.The coat zips up completely as well as additional snaps all the way down to the bottom. It has a kind of vest that’s built-in that also zips under the coat for extra warmth. The vest is not removable. The zippers function as should.The sleeves inside are shirred elastic, loose enough to not be restricting, but keep the rain/snow out. The pockets are lined with a fur type fabric and feel really nice and warm. The actual coat is lined with a polyester acetate I believe, very nice and silky feeling. There are no inside pockets.The stitching seems well done. And the coat does not seem cheaply made. It is a nice weight; Not too late and not too heavy. I ran one sleeve under the faucet to see if it was waterproof and the water immediately beat it up and ran off, and I was able to dry the coat with a towel with not having any residual water on the coat.I held up the white envelope against the coat so you can see the color. It is a little darker than I expected, as it looked more white on line, but I like it. I am quite sure it will keep me very warm.

This coat is above expectations. It is absolutely gorgeous. The fur on the hood is great quality along with the pockets, zippers etc. and it's not too heavy for a long coat. I work at an office in California with malfunctioning airconditioning. We freeze all year long. I am so happy to have something that will keep me warm and in style at the same time! I also plan on taking this when I winter glamp in California and can see myself keeping this as my go to coat every winter. The style is classic and it will last. Don't hesitate on this one. Excellent purchase.

Received earlier than expected. Everything as described. I am 5'3, 140lb, ordered size M, wearing thin sweater under coat. Fit tight and perfect. Looks real nice. A little heavier than i expected.

The coat looks exacly as shown, is so warm and fluffy and is tailored very nicely for slimmer figures. The length is longer than the car coat I have and looks great with black boots! I live in Florida and need to travel to Oklahoma City in two weeks. The coat arrived in plenty of time (sooner than expected!) and I cannot wait to wear it. Tahari is a great designer and I cannot believe a got a full-length coat by this designer for the price I paid. Stop looking and buy this coat!!!

Love the styling and fit, warm and comfortable. disappointed that one of the snaps on the fur hood failed or was faulty after removing it for washing. Otherwise, I love it! Not sure if there was a way for repair or replacement.

The cut of this coat is very flattering. It's also extremely warm. The quality is high end at a great price. The ivory is a light latté color with a golden shimmer giving the coat a sophisticated look.

There is no white coat. The color in picture is false. The white look alike is actually a champagne color. Coat is ok. Fur on hood is best part. You WILL have difficulties with the zipper and coat runs SMALL. I am a medium and had to return coat for a large. Zipper is cheap and will get STUCK often. Coat not worth the price. I get zero compliments.

I LOVE THIS COAT!! The blue is just beautiful! I am so glad I bought it, I feel like a million bucks in it! It’s very elegant looking, looks far more expensive than it cost, but it is a Tahari, so that’s not surprising…the list price on the tag was over $350 if I remember correctly….might have been even higher, so it was a great buy!And warm? Oh yes! I live in New England and I’d have to take my pup out at night in near single digit cold…this & my Ugg boots kept me quite warm! Highly recommend this coat…you won’t be disappointed.
