well as it turns out the switch was defective after all. i contacted customer service and they were terrific and shipped another right away. The second switch is much better quality and works like a champ so i am updating my review to 5 stars , nice work guys

Worked fine for 30 seconds then went dead. It's a good looking switch. The function feels a little cheap. I really liked it for 30 seconds.

Switch works great, but the wiring setup for it is non-intuitive. You have to power the switch to it can power he light. Not one to read manuals on what I though would be pretty straight-forward switch install, I had to pull it and redo the wiring. I have in on the interior of a boat, I kind of question whether it would be salt-water resistance. I don't see any attempt to seal it, and salt water is pretty hard on electronics.

It works well with the strip led lights. It is not the best quality and appears to be flimsy. Time will tell if they hold up. I see an update in the future for this switch.

I bought these to install aux. switches into my truck without having to drill or do any permanent modifications to my interior. The switches are push on/push off, with illumination that changes brightness based on if the switch is on or off. You can pretty much attach the switch anywhere using double-sided tape (a small piece is included with the switch). Installation is only 3 wires, with helpful diagrams on the packaging if you've never installed a lighted switch before. Be sure to use a relay - these are rated to handle max. 200mv, I prefer using relays anyway for full power from the battery to the accessory I'm installing. For the price, the switch is pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the difference between brightness of the LED lights when the switch is on or off is not that easy to determine until you mentally remember what the brightness of "off" is compared to "on".

Im not the type too leave nonsense reveiws. W/o some sort of info. But Ive been wiring Automotive and even residential house electrical a long time.. An this little sw/ just wouldnt holdup too even tiny little 3w led amber light bolts.. It lit up, worked for 2 mins, went black.. Pos, load, ground all correct.. Tryed another stick on pod, been working since. Shame too because the wires were a good size, the switch can be stuck onto anyplace. But it dont like any amps i guess. If you need too switch a .5 amp, your fine. Or maybe i got a bad one., wired up a simalar stick on swith pod w/ round rocker, and thery have heavy wire, good switch quality, but dont stick as well. But worked fine..

I installed this switch with a relay because I think my lights draw more than 200ma. It would be nice to have the option to buy the relay from this seller, to be sure you get one that works with the switch but I picked one up at the auto parts store and it worked just fine. I watched a YouTube video on how to wire a relay. So far so good. I haven't tested the water resistance so I didn't rate it.

Not sure what you can really say - it's a switch. Hooked it up to a 12V device and it worked fine. Fairly sturdy with a couple of mounting options. I'll be cutting into a wall in my RV to mount it flush. It'll be controlling my WiFi backup camera which will always be running while I'm in motion - this switch is to turn off the camera once I'm stopped.

This switch arrived exactly as advertised. It is a quality component that performed exactly as we expected based on its description.

Works, switch feels mushy, not a crisp click. It didn't come with double sided tape. It does illuminate, brighter when in the on position. I will switch to a gang switch panel when I add additional accessories.
